Tried a good old meat pie from here today for lunch and damn was that a nice pie. Nice and warm but didn't burn my mouth. Pastry was crispy not soggy, but also not hard as a rock. Will be back later in the week. Good sized pie for $4 too!

popped in for a sneaky pot and Parma one afternoon. was rather disappointed in the Parma. It looked like one of the paper thin ones you get from the Woolies deli. they also forgot the salad and brought it out just as I was finishing the Parma.
I stayed in the Swiss for 3 weeks whilst on business in Sydney, and by the 2nd night, the staff had become like family.
No request was too big or small. I asked for some boot polish, they polished my shoes. Asked where are post office was, they mailed and added stamps to my envelopes.
I stayed in room 811, a wonderfuld corner room with views of the City, and even a little of the bay. Housekeeping were always very thorough, and room service was not only affordable, but filling and prompt.
Pool area was clean, Gym always tidy and rarely more than a couple of other guests in it, and again, the staff were great. Especially Chris on the desk upstairs.
Only small issue, the buffet breakfast food was usually quite cold, especially the bacon. Apart from that, would go back in a second if needed.
Approximate cost: $230
My wife and I were married at The Willows, and the day was amazing. From the quality of the meals, to the lovely building and gardens, to the service provided on the day.
A slight disruptionwith people wanting to come in and look at the venue, even though they could see a wedding was happening, even my wife standing there in her dress sipping on champagne, but those people were ushered off quickly and the day was not disturbed. More than anything, the service truly was the best I have seen, and they helped make our special day, all the more special.
And the price? Very very resonable for a wedding on a beautiful Easter Saturday.
I can't wait to return to Sydney, purely so I can go back here. It was such a fun atmosphere. Was with work collegues, and I haven't laughed that much in a long time. The food looked like it wouldn't fill us up, but we were stuffed at the end of it.
Weren't rushed out afterwards, and they happily split the bill for us. Amazing place.
Approximate cost: $35
The service was friendly, the value resonable, but the chicken Parama I got in the sports bar left me wondering, 'Where's the chicken?' It had more bread crumbs than a pigeons pantry, barely any sauce, and no Ham. How can youhave a parma wth no ham?! Maddness. Would go back for a beer, but not to eat.
Approximate cost: $14
What can you say abut The Portsea. An amazing atmosphere, great service, awesome food. And the views of the beach, just feel the serenity. Bit of a drive down from Melbourne, but all worth it upon arrival. Have been many times, will be back before long.
Approximate cost: $25
Pizza couldn't have been nicer. They didn't scrimp on the toppings and the base thasted good enough to eat the crust, something you'll rarely catch my kids doing. Add the location and you've got pizza on the beach a short drive away. Brilliant.
This is just a typical aussie pub. Full of a bunch of blokes about to head to the footy, music pumping, and cheap pots. Clean, not too cluttered, and friendly enough staff when all youwant is a beer. Give it a go.
Approximate cost: $3.50
The price seemed very steep at first, but the food and service proved why. As always, I got my Pub Parma, and was more than satisified. even finished my wifes parma. She's a bit of a lightweight, and these things were huge! Will be back when driving through again.
