I stay at this place every time I head to the snow. It's a 3 star hotel and accommodation is as expected but this place is great value for money. Prices start from around $150 and you get complimentary breakfast and discounts at various places such as ski hire and petrol. Great location - all rooms have lake front views and the place is just across the road from shops and restaurants. They hotel also has various entertainment most nights of the week.

This place is a must visit! Approximately a half hour drive from Katoomba, this place offers both guided and self-guided tours of the Jenolan Caves. I completed the Orient Cave tour as I was told it is one of the most beautiful caves there and they were right. The cave is truly breathtaking. I would recommend getting there early in the morning so you can get the most out of your day and if you plan on doing a guided tour, book in advance.

Approximate cost: $35.00

Been buying kebabs at this place a few years now. They make great kebabs compared to a lot of other places around Sydney. The service however could be greatly improved. All I can say is that the managers must really need a holiday or something as I've never seen such unenthusiastic workers in all my life. If it wasn't for the kebabs, I wouldn't be back. A smile and a simple 'thank you' goes a long way.

Busy place (as expected during the ski season) located at the top of the Kosciusko Chairlift. The restaurant claims to be Australia's highest restaurant and offers some remarkable views over the Thredbo Valley. They have quite a diverse menue with other daily specials. Ordered one of their large burgers and a bowl of wedges which seemed to be very popular. The burger was as expected I guess but the coffee I had afterwards was extremely good. Value for money is not too bad.

Overall a great experience. We booked a table and were so glad we did as the place was extremely busy. Food was lovely. We ordered chicken satay skewers for an entree. For the main dish, we had chicken cashew nut, the massamun lamb shanks and the sweet chilli jam crispy pork
The service was great. We received our meals really quickly. Plenty of waitresses around and they were very friendly, though their English is not so great. Apart from being quite noisy, the place had a great atmosphere.

I chose this restaurant to dine at for my birthday. Having driven past it many times in the couple of years I have lived in the area, I was keen to try it out. Was extremely disappointed and won't be returning. The boscaiola I ordered was way over cooked and tasted like an instant packet mix. My family weren't too happy with their meals either and said they taste more like frozen meals reheated. Service was good and friendly though - perhaps as we were the only ones dining?? This restaurant needs a huge makeover if they expect to stay in business.

Easy money. All it takes is a few minutes each day and a few clicks here and there. Can even send 5 free SMS messages per day . I love it! However, I don't really bother with the Rock Paper Scissors game or the auctions.

I went here a few months ago to buy a cake. I think there was a change in ownership at the time. There were only two staff members there in the cafe and one of them was assisting a customer with a cake order. However, after waiting in line nearly 10 minutes and not having budged I decided to go order a cake from the Cheesecake Shop instead. I then returned there a couple of weeks ago to order a coffee and despite being served straight away with only a couple of other customers in the cafe, I still waited about 10 minutes to receive my coffee.

Easy to find store however difficult to get out as I had come from Epping - ended up turning into Delhi Rd on leaving and doing a u-turn. Went to this store when there were was a sale on and quite a few good deals. Saved myself quite a bit of money. Floor staff were OK in assisting me, however, when I arrived at the checkout, I questioned an item which had scanned up full price as I was sure it was reduced. The checkout staff member flat out told me I was wrong and moaned and groaned in front of me. Turns out I was right and I got the item for free, however left the store quite appalled by the checkout assistant's behaviour.

Disappointing experience. I had won a voucher in a hospital raffle for this store. However, when I tried to use it the manager wasn't going to accept it and tried to charge me for the pizza I had ordered as he didn't know what to do with it. Unfriendly staff overall. No greeting or farewell upon leaving. Had to wait quite a while for my pizza too.
