This review is for Tongue and Groove, West End QLD

We went there last night and the food was awesome. Well presented too, which is a plus. They're called the 'tongue and groove' as there's a restaurant upstairs and live music downstairs - nice set-up quite typical of West End. We tried the chicken breast (stuffed with spinach and fetta) and the rack of lamb. Lunch and breakky menus looked good too...

Rocking Horse sells a good range of CDs, DVDs and vinyl. They also sell second hand CDs and tickets to gigs. I've always found the staff to be helpful and know what they were talking about. Instore performances are announced on their website.

This review is for Govinda's Vegetarian Restaurant, Brisbane QLD

Govinda's is an Indian-style vegetarian restaurant that serves an 'all you can eat' buffet lunch and dinner. If you aren't interested in celebrating Hare Krishna, don't go on a Sunday (feast day), but if you are after a casual-dining vegetarian restaurant, this is a good place to try.

I've only ever been here for lunch, but the food has been fantastic every time. It can get busy, and parking can be a bit scarce, but I think it's worth it. These guys are also in the Entertainment Book, so if you've got one of those check them out!

This is a boutique cinema with a bar and balcony dining attached. The menu comes from the Thai Restaurant downstairs. We ate on the balcony and then ordered drinks and ice cream to be brought in to the cinema. They can get busy on weekend nights, so you may want to get tickets a little earlier.

I've been here several times - sometimes to celebrate and sometimes just for the food. The restaurant is in one of those restaurant-village things, so there's quite a nice atmosphere. You may need to book on a busy night... and you may need to park a little distance away from the restaurant.

We went for lunch here -- great food! Try the yellow curry with coconut rice ;-) The service was reasonable and the atmosphere would suit anyone from family to colleagues. We didn't have a booking for a Friday lunch visit, though it did get a little busy so you may need one at night.
