Acqua Vino has lovely internal decor, with an excellent range of cocktails made from top shelf spirits and liqueurs. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing polite and swift service.
Generous portions with swift, polite service and reasonable pricing - the perfect place to go for dinner before heading down to the Astor for the evening' double feature.
Approximate cost: $18
A good range of fresh meats, and a large number of helpful staff - there's always a queue, but it never takes very long to get served. And the shopping centre location is very convenient.
Wide range of meats in a variety of cuts, along with an excellent selection of premade dishes - sausages, sausage rolls, rissoles, pies and more. Friendly and helpful staff.
Expensive but generously proportioned drinks and food, great atmosphere in both the front bar and the beer garden out the back. The staff are friendly and always happy to chat.
Very tasty (if at times greasy) pizzas, with fast and friendly delivery service. Eating in, the place has a great "fifties diner" feel to it, with a jukebox selection to match.
Approximate cost: $9
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always happy to help with inquiries and such, and a great range of bikes and biking accessories at reasonable prices.
Quick and courteous service, whether for phone orders or in person, and the food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. They also tend to throw in a little extra - a handful of chips or a bonus potato cake.
Approximate cost: $10
The bar has a great ambiance, friendly (if always very busy) staff and a wide range of interesting drinks - their martini selections alone number in the dozens! Highly recommended.
About average in terms of bar service and variety, but they more than make up for that with the amazing range of artists who perform there. And unlike a lot of pubs, there's almost no chance of them ever running out of parking spaces.
