This review is for Takeru Japanese Cuisine, Sydney NSW

This has become perhaps my favourite Japanese restaurant in the Sydney CBD. I love their takeru salad, I keep coming back for it. They have Japanese curries and everything is reasonably priced. Stay away from the pizzas. They are very strange. Rice pudding and chicken on pizza and mayo...very strange flavours.

This is a great looking restaurant for a dinner after a long day of work. The setting is classy so it's best to dress nicely to fit in. The food is ok, the staff are attentive and the setting is beautiful.

Their food is amazing but my steak was slightly burnt but that didn't stop the meat from tasting good. The decor is beautiful. There's a choice of inside which is dimmer and a more romantic lighting and outside where there's a great view of the harbour. Expensive, but once in a while doesn't hurt.

This review is for Fortune House Seafood, Eastwood NSW

This restaurant is located away from the busy part of Eastwood so it's a lot quieter which is really good if you want to spend some quality time with your family. This restaurant is very family oriented. The food is acceptable (this is coming from my mother who is the best cook I know) and the price is also acceptable.

I use to come here a lot when I was in high school or uni and we always loved their food and the atmosphere. There is a reason why we keep coming back all of the time.

This review is for EP Steamboat Fresh Food Buffet Restaurant, Epping NSW

This place is great for a winter night (or day). We went for dinner and we were hungry. The seafood and beef have been frozen but we worried how long all of the food had been sitting there. The service is great, the staff kindly helped us with our sauces.
It's expensive $35 for dinner, considering it's hot pot but a good price for all you can eat. But the next day, I was quite sick so I am not sure if that was the way the food was cook (perhaps a little uncooked) or the deadly chilli in the soup or the sauce.

This review is for Masuya Japanese, Sydney NSW

My first thoughts were it's located at a creepy place on a Saturday night on a quiet street in the Sydney CBD. It didn't helped that I had to go downstairs. But once inside, it was beautiful and it was a great setting for a romantic dinner. The food was good, not the best. The price is worth it for the decor and the service.

It's not hard to notice the long, long queue of people waiting outside the door. We decided we had to try it because of the long queue. We went on a Wednesday night and the wait wasn't too bad. We ordered chicken curry, original roti (get this) and a panang filled roti with ice-cream for dessert. The food was good, it was satisfying and it was cheap! It only came up to $27 even with a hot tea (which was really bitter and tasted slightly weird).
And while you are waiting, watch the guys make roti, it looks fun.

This review is for Al Aseel Restaurant, Surry Hills NSW

Before coming here, I had heard great reviews from their brother restaurant in Greenacre. How it's always packed and it's very hard to get a booking. This Surry Hills version is more nicely presented, it's decor is beautiful and paired with their famous Lebanese authenticity, it's not hard to believe they achieved one hat.
The food was awesome, plentiful and I don't think I've ever eaten that much food for awhile.
We opted for the banquet and I couldn't believe the entree was so filling but it's worth the space in my stomach.
