Fantastic Food. Have strayed in the past but learn the hard way that these guys are the best. Friday and Saturday nights they are packed with people getting there take-aways yet you never have to wait much more than 15 minutes. Huge selection of dishes and great, fresh flavours.

AWFUL!! flavourless food and poor service. The staff's english was so limited that ordering rice was difficult for a table sitting just near me. It took over 45 minutes to produce the first of 4 dishes on a tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant and the phone was hardly ringing. No music playing and another empty table left dirty the entire time I was there. they offer a 20% discount on monday and tuesday nights on their main course dishes which only brings them down to a relatively normal price and the seafood is expensive. based on the poor flavour of the meat dishes i ordered im glad i didn't try the seafood. Won't be going back there

THE BEST PAD-THAI IN THE INNER WEST! quick service with a free home delivery service - they don't even have different prices for delivery so it a real free service. they also have a members program with free stuff every couple of orders and a $25 credit to use on your 16th order. Worth checking out

I send all my dry cleaning and alterations here, and occasionally a bag wash when i just can't be bothered doing it myself. they are fast, friendly and efficient not to mention honest, return ing $50 that i had unknowingly left in the pockets of a pair of pants. will not go anywhere else

I have reviewed this place once before but feel it is time for a new review!
IF THERE WAS AN AWARD FOR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD THE GUY WHO RUNS THIS PLACE WOULD RECEIVE IT. we ordered two pizza's at 8pm on a friday night for pick-up and were told 40 min wait. by 9pm the pizza's still weren't ready, after asking the girl behind the counter how much longer she asked the pizza cook but never told us the answer, this happened another two times. being winter we stood to the side of the pizza oven to keep warm (in the restaurant part which was EMPTY) but were told by the owner that we were in the way (of what i don't know) and to wait outside (in the cold). When mentioned that the wait and service recieved was a bit poor he responded "I don't care if you never f*****g come back again"

This review is for Ruby L'otel, Rozelle NSW

Ruby L'otel has been beautifully refurbished from the old local it was. the menu was loaded with asian inspired dishes and banquet options also, but very limited in it's lunch time "pub grub" dishes. there were 8 or 9 options reduced to $10 lunch time deals and were very generous sizes, however the drinks were a little on the pricey side ($10 for a glass of Merlot). Service could have been a little more friendly from all the staff

Firstly let me say that these pizzas are some of the BEST I have ever tried! what a shame the service in the restaurant is absolute crap. within 30 seconds of sitting down we were asked if we were ready to order. of course we were not. two wine glasses were bought to our table without asking but the bottle we bought was not opened or poured for us. about ten minutes later we were again approached asking if we were ready to order, we ordered two pizzas and a greek salad and some water. there were at least 7 staff on that night and of course some would have been there to answer the phone and take orders for delivery and pick up but it still took 20 minutes for the pizzas to arrive. after this the salad came!?!?!? still no sign of the water so we reminded the waitress. the waitress was never seen again after the food was served until 20 minutes after finishing our meal we asked a man carrying a bag of something thru the restaurant to send the waitress over. when asked what gelato was available she told us in a kurt manner that there are too many just get up and look in the fridge yourself. as we live only a few streets from this place we will happily order take-away from them because as mentioned before this was some of the best pizza i have come across but will be very hesitant to return for a dine-in experience.

This review is for Berkelouw Wine Bar, Leichhardt NSW

verified email - 04 Apr 2010

The Berkelouw wine bar is a smallish area upstairs in the Berkelouw book store in Leichhardt. From the street we noticed the grand piano and live singer and that's what drew us in. The waitress who greeted us was friendly and advised us that they would be closing an hour earlier than usual at 10:30 that night (we arrived at 9:40) she didn't however show us to a table. the menu offered a decent selection of wines and beers with a few fortifieds as well as chocolates, cheeses and coffee/tea. The prices were not cheap but not unreasonable for a venue with this atmosphere. We ordered Port, coffee and a cheese plate. The waitress returned to tell us that coffee wasn't available as the machine had been cleaned. This was very disappointing as there were 45 minutes before the venue was closing and the entertainment was still going. when paying the bill ($52 for just port and cheese) i handed over my visa card to be told that there are ATM's downstairs on the street. understandable if all they were serving was coffee and cakes but with sit down meal it's a bit poor in this technological age. The live entertainment, distractions of litrature and friendly service made the night but would not recommend it as a must. A nice experience and would return but would not rave about it just yet.

Meet family to drink and eat at the club at the new Rosabelle's Bistro. seeing as the club has a "restaurant" the prices for food at the bistro where extremely high. $20 for a Penne Siciliana. both the specials and the standard menu had the same fish dish on it with the special being $2 more expensive. when I asked the cashier what the difference was he replied, in a snappy tone, the garnish. Our meals arrived after a lengthy wait and were only warm, not hot. I will not return to this venue. - in fairness the service from the clubs own bar staff was very friendly.

MOTM is a cute little shop in Hurstville specalizing in educational and general print music. John and Lisa carry as large range of music for all instruments asnd offer a great postal order service. I have a large number of students in the St George area and confidently send them all to MOTM as i know that my students are going to have the resources they need in a timely fashion.
