Casually driving around trying to find a nice place for lunch, we saw this cute little cafe restaurant and decided to check it out. As we approached we were welcomed with unmistakable delicious smells that enticed us even more. We were promptly seated on a small square cafe table which eventually would become too small for the oversized plates and the side order of chips. The cafe was cute with interesting art and items for sale around to entertain.
I'll give it to you straight. We had to wait over 40 minutes for scrambled eggs. The place was very full, and the waiters did not check on us once in the 40 minute wait, even after we had finished our beverages. I tried to make eye contact to order more drinks but had no luck and the noise of chatter was so loud that my "excuse me" could only be heard by those at my table. However, when I got service they did not flinch to tend to my needs even though some would be a nuisance for them.
Finally we got our meals and, although the wait could not be forgotten with the two starving children, we soon cared less. The eggs were as expected, creamy and yummy. The avocado was fresh and ripe. The mushroom sauteed beautifully (I'm always surprised at how many cafes get it wrong). But the chips...they were to DIE FOR! There are no words to tell you how delicious they were and I recommend you go find out for yourself.
To sum up, yes service was very poor on this Sunday morning but not rude - just lacking. The food though was awesome and I highly recommend it. All I'd say is if you have kids, give them something to eat before you arrive or bring nibbles.
Would I go again? Hell yes! The food really makes it worth the wait and the location is wonderful. There is so much to do nearby. Sure, there are other places to eat but I'm not sure I could pass up an opportunity for those chips. They have made it to the top 2 in Victoria on my list

I love love love this place. Not only do they have gluten free options, but fructose friendly too! And...they actually taste really yummy. They do gf scones which are the best I've tried (often they can be too dense) and their berry cheesecake was light and delicious. Their chocolates are also worth buying for the trip home. The place also has arts and crafted items for sale from locals. They are beautiful and I love taking a sticky beak at them. If I had the money, I'd definitely buy some. I look forward to my next visit and will be making any excuse to go. Highly recommend. You will not be sorry

Love love love their range. I've just bought the best fitting bra I've ever found. They have products that are super pricey but also affordable ones too. Their sleepwear is sexy and I only wish I could have bought one.
She really has an amazing collection of bras for those not looking for "granny bras". A large variety of styles including t-shirt bras, sports bra, sexy bras, push up bras, large sizes etc. I'll be buying all my bras from here from now on.
Please note my "approx. cost" is for the cheaper bras but she had plenty over $100 for those wanting something exceptional.

Approximate cost: $40

Their review is not as high as I expect it will be next time I visit as my cut was not anything special (but I knew that going in) and the hairdresser I had was not chatty but nice enough. To be honest, I didn't think I liked chatty that much but it appears it does make a difference to your experience.
What I did like was the care and attention I got to make sure my hairdresser understood what I was wanting, and she took the time to discuss the different treatments and hair products on my request (no pushing to buy products which was good). She took control when I was unsure about what would work, which shows her confidence and ability to style hair.
It was nice going to a hairdresser who would make you a cuppa though the "tea" I requested somehow ended up a coffee. I didn't make a fuss about it.
They have the massage chairs which seem pretty standard these days and will wash your hair.
Overall I am happy and plan to go back again.

I went there for lunch on a public holiday after hearing great things from family. It was surprisingly quiet when I arrived.
I was amazed by the service of the lady who served us. As soon as she saw my two kids, she brought straws for the water glasses on the table, asked whether we wanted cutlery for the kids (rather than just putting it down and leaving it to the parents to keep the kids safe from them), and everything we asked (juice, no ice, in a small glass please!) was no hassle.
The iced tea tasted like they made it themselves - something you don't often get - though I can't be sure. The meal was nice. I had a salad so although I'd say there was no "wow factor", it's not easy to "wow" a salad. My husband was happy with his parma and chips and the kids didn't complain.
The staff always had warm smiles which is great. Although we didn't try the deserts, I'm totally hanging out to go back for those as they looked amazing.
I highly recommend this place. It's not "the most amazing thing ever" but it's very good. Better than most places I visit in glen Waverley.

Nothing exceptional here. The assistant did not do a good job with suction. The dentist did a filling without much to complain about. When discussing my wisdom teeth, despite the pain and impaction, he suggested that as my pain was "not as bad as last week" that we'd just leave it and I was to come back if it was severe again and he'd refer me. I wasn't really happy with that response. He did not ask what I wanted to do nor explain whether my teeth would survive being pushed out of place like this. I did not push him as I hate the idea and I was to come back for another filling. I have not been back and am still procrastinating booking in anywhere (looking at it now).
I did have a bit of a wait when I arrived and didn't receive much of a greeting when I entered the clinic. This dentist is not for me.

This is heaven on earth. I spent my time there at the Dreaming centre and enjoyed their Kodo massage (60 min). The baths are of varying degrees so you can find one that suits you. The surroundings are lovely and you can watch the birds while you bathe.
The change rooms are clean and they have wristband locks for their lockers so you don't need to worry about what to do with a key while you're bathing. The showers there have everything you need - shower gel, shampoo & conditioner.
As for the massage, you begin by entering the relaxation room where you wait for someone to collect you. They have those egg-shaped swings or couches if you prefer. There is gorgeous relaxation music, a lovely aroma, and candles. When your therapist comes to collect you, you are greeted with a warm and friendly smile. They take you back through the bathing area to your room for the massage. And that is where your life changes. You enter there with all your tension but when you leave you are floating on air. When the massage was completed, you return to the relaxation room where you are offered tea and water and just sit back and enjoy your new-found peace. My husband and I never wanted to leave!
The Kodo massage was one of the best I've ever received. They got to all the important areas. I entered stiff and sore and left relaxed and loose. My tension and pain was completely gone.
This is a must do for everyone! Do the Kodo massage. You won't regret it. If you can, allow for a minimum 3-4 hours (inc massage) while you are there, but I encourage longer. We are going to return next month because it was so good!

For me, the food is everything. Service was lacking. The staff were not keen but they did their job and tended to our needs. It's the kind of place that you go up to order and collect your meal but that never bothers me.
I was surprised and delighted by how delicious my salad was. Yes, you heard me - salad! I ordered the Chicken Ranch salad (I think that's what it was called). They were happy to make it without onion in it for me. It was so tasty that I was sad when I couldn't finish the meal. Definitely can't go hungry on this salad. Between the ranch dressing, potatos, bacon, cheese and chicken - there is enough carbs for even the hungriest man. It was so nice that I'm thinking of trying to replicate it at home.
So if you find yourself in Rosebud and wondering where to get a good meal (but don't mind whether you get a smile), then this place is for you.
YUM

This place is great. Unlike a nearby playland, it has a huge variety of toys and games for the toddlers and the big kid area looks like a lot of fun too. They have arcade games, air hockey and some skill tester games for the older kids (or grown up kids) also.
The party rooms look awesome. They are smaller than their nearby competitor but much more fun.
I ate the fish n chips which I thought was quite good. My husband was not excited by his roll but otherwise we were happy. The food is more expensive than their competitors but I was happy spending that extra money considering all the extra activities for the kids (I have a 1 & 2yo so both in the toddler area).
The toddler area is fully fenced in though the gate gets stuck (preventing it from self-closing) so be aware that your child can still escape if parents don't remember to pull it closed. The ball pit has heaps of balls so the children can bury themselves in it. They have a play kitchen for pretend play, a basket ball hoop for the plastic ball, a jumping castle inside the gate (and outside for the older kids), a fire track that goes on a little slide track, ride-on cars and a petrol pump, tunnels above and a tunnel slide. That's just the toddler area. They also have walkers for the children learning to walk! That impressed me the most.
The staff there were not particularly cheerful but perhaps that was because it was grand final day and they were stuck at work ;) Food was prompt and they didn't get anything wrong with our order.
Overall, I loved it. I will be making it my new regular playcentre just as soon as I use up the multipass I bought at the other.
Seriously, check it out.

I go here all the time and the staff are very friendly. I was very impressed though recently when I went in their with my daughter who is autistic. They had to get the front of their shop repaired after a car drove into it and there were laborers using power drills. My child was terrified. I was stuck on the floor unable to move as I held my baby in one hand and my frozen, shaking daughter in the other.
A staff member came up, and without me saying a word, she compassionately gave my daughter a hug, took her to the counter and gave her a balloon and continued to hold her while I made my purchase. I was so grateful. She then carried her out of the shop until we were far enough away from the noise that my daughter could walk again. I'm getting all chocked up just thinking about it. It was definitely something special and after such kindness I am determined to refrain from visiting their competitors in the future to show my appreciation.
We all love those special places where you are really looked after and are not just a dollar sign to them, and I really felt that way here.
