I had a fantastic experience at this salon. The hairdresser clearly understood what she was doing and had a real talent for style. My cut is beautiful and I've received many compliments. The staff are super lovely people. I can't wait to go back there.

They did a great job with the cut but what I liked best of all was how understanding she was with my dogs "special needs". After I told them of my problem with a fear-aggressive dog, she was willing to take on the challenge and even let me help if needed (unlike others). In the end, my dog was not a problem but her 'customer service' was second to none. I highly recommend her.
Since writing the above review I have used her again (and booked for a third). Again she was amazing. My 'problem' dog acted up a bit this time and I was very impressed with how she handled it. Although a small dog, she was brave and willing to do what she could to get the job done. She came and got me and we worked together to keep him calm and finish the job. Fantastic. I can't really comment on price as I didn't shop around, but the staff were lovely and handled the gowns with care (and the use of white gloves). They will store your gown in either a bag or box depending on your preference. I brought my dress in 6 years after our wedding and it has come up like new. They even managed to get the pollen out of the skirt. If you want your wedding dress taken care of and put in the hands of someone you can trust, this is them.

I love their mocktails - just had to say it. Their food is nice though doesn't really stand out. However I brought my daughter down there and they were very accomodating. The staff member who served us was really good to the kids and understood the difficulties in dining out with children. I've never had a bad meal from them. Did I mention their fantastic fruity mocktails? Sublime!

The best place to go if you have deserts on your mind. I absolutely love their chocolate mousse cups. The staff are super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and they treat you like a friend they've invited for dinner. Pricing is reasonable and serves are generous. Bring your appetite!

I've been here three times and each time was a disappointment. First was a foccacia or turkish bread with chicken and avocado. The avocado had so much lemon added to it that it ruined the dish. The last time I went there, the staff didn't approach us for orders until we asked them to. The sauteed mushrooms (to go with my scrambled egg breakfast) where very disappointing for me. I would not choose to go there again if I can avoid it.

When I went there yesterday, they were very busy and it took a long time before a waiter even saw us and then for our food to arrive. Normally service is much better than that though. Food is always very tasty and is my favourite cafe to dine in at The Glen.

I personally had a terrible time here. The staff kept looking over our shoulders (not so discretely!) which made me very uncomfortable. Despite booking a highchair, there wasn't one at the table and the staff member who led us to the table walked off promptly without offerring us one (we were carrying a toddler!). She left so quickly she didn't hear me ask for one.
The menu was quite dull in my opinion. Very little took my fancy besides the steaks which unfortunately were served on a hot rock so you could cook it yourself. I know some love that but personally I'd like someone else to be responsible for cooking my steak - that's why I eat out.
I assume others feel similarly because despite it being a Saturday night, the restaurant was near empty.
I won't be going back there again. I'll save my money for good service and a good menu.
Prices were reasonable though.

Love the cakes, love the experience. I especcially love what the cafe is all about. They provide work for people with mental illness (mostly depression I think) and it's just so nice that there is somewhere for those people to work where they can get the extra support they need in the workplace. As I am constantly surrounded by effects of this illness, it really touches my heart. The staff are always friendly and the food/drinks are high quality.

I had the best gnocci I've ever had at this restaurant. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to eat there again. Even the wine was superb.
