dryclean a doona and a ladies coat
The doona came back with the same dirt on the same places so it had apparently not been cleaned, just plastic wrapped.
The coat shrank and was useless
I would never use another Brown Gouge service.

Our top brand name German machine finally gave up and I bought another brand (USA) of vacuum cleaner that used a water filter. It was a disaster with poor suction and cleaning ability on top of a stinking tub of water to empty and then wash out the fillthy catchment tank. After a year I gave up, threw it out and bought an electrolux twin-clean
Instantly cleaning the house became a pleasure (almost) Entrenched dog hair lifted with the first pass instead of spending hours cleaning the turbo head just to clean another few metres. This machine is well designed, seems indestructible. The plastic seems to be much stronger than the German machine that always had bits breaking off. The hose is very long and the cord is super long. As well as being super long the spring loaded retraction mechanism still works perfectly. The only complaint is that the dust container fills really quickly because it does such a good job of cleaning. I'm happy to empty this frequently because it reminds me that it's working well. The design details like the self cleaning filter and the wand design with the control buttons at your fingertips are very good.

I bought a Bosch lifestyle automatic dishwasher. Cost a fortune $1300 from the Good Guys in Moorabin. They delivered it next day as agreed. It works beautifully. quiet. has a problem washing old peanut butter off a knife but anything less difficult it does perfectly. I had doubts about the cutlery tray as opposed to a basket but its easy to load and if you segregate the items as you load much easier to unload. I paid for an extended warranty so it will be a long time before I need another. My previous machine was a Swedish brand that worked OK but broke down once a year and had an admitted electronic design fault that they fixed free until about a month before ours failed. I won't forgive them for that as it cost about $400

I have used the clinic several times. Its not like having your own doctor but I need an appointment a week ahead with her because she's very well known to be good. These guys seem professional and did what I expected. Ordered tests from path labs and followed them up. I don't want anymore than that from a one-off consultation.
