Great food, service with a smile. Try a Mexican burger, my favourite! I think the prices re very reasonable. I have'nt tried much else apart from the flake, burgers, potato cakes and chips. Yum yum.

I had my new house fenced recently. The work was done by a contractor hired by this company who worked from early moning until almost dark, and did a satisfactory job. The reason I give these guys such a bad review is due to their poor customer service. We were originally given a contractors number who never, ever picked their phone up or returned our call after leaving messages. We would have, at this stage, gone with another company had we not left a deposit. Calling the company directly was a waste of time, as they told us they would get the contractor to call without result. After the work was "completed", there was a 25cm gap between the fence and the garage wall. After asking why, the contractor (not the original guy that did not answer his phone) told us that he carried out the work as per the plan. We contacted the business, and were told that it would cost over $100 more for that panel. We were originally quoted a price to fully secure the property. It then took two weeks of waiting and several phone calls, and were eventually told someone would be there the next day. One week later, still no panel. We called, and again, someone would be there the next day. Another whole week goes past, and after another call, I was told the measured panel was damaged in a car accident. The work finally got done, and the panel used was a peice of sheet metal, crudely painted and roughly cut to fill the gap. Many of the panels used (colourbond) looked like they had been bouncing around in the back of a ute, badly scuffed and scratched, with most of the bolts rounded off, making removal of a panel for gardening equipment very difficult. I'm not super particular about that stuff, being handy myself, but the overall service and lack of care was very poor, especially on the reception/business end.

I have been to this office 4 times in the last 3 years for several "non-offence" related things, like changing my details and getting my drivers liscence. Safe to say I will make the one hour trip to a rural Ricroads instead of dealing with these complete utter incapable staff who have no idea what is going on, and need to get their act together, or at least take a look at their computer system more than a glance before stuffing you around. Besides the wait (each and every time) even with an appointment, and doing absolutely everything I need to do by the books, it seems that they are almost trying to make the experience as difficult as possible. I would rather drive an hour to get seen on time and deal with better staff rather than dealing with this office. My experiences at other offices has been much smoother, despite them having the same data-base. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

The staff at Evolution (or "evo's") are fantastic. Great servicing, and very friendly and expert sales staff. Refreshing to deal with sales and spare parts guys that don't try to sell you extra stuff, or don't make you feel like a fool for not being an expert or asking simple questions. Danny on the sales floor is a great guy, I'm always sending my friends and family to see him for bikes & gear, he really knows his stuff and makes each experience feel casual. Jimmy in the service department can always be relied upon to make sure my bike is looked after, and delivers what he promises, and to date my servicing has always cost less than first quoted. A few female friends of mine have told me they feel comfortable dealing with these guys after a few negative experiences at other shops. Going here I feel like I'm hanging out with my mates, not people trying to sell me stuff. 4 stars for value, as the stuff they sell is not cheap, but always good quality. If you shop there often, I doubt you'll pay full price for everything.

I stumbled across this bike shop after a mechanical issue interrupted my ride a few months ago, which was fixed on the spot. I have since been back every time I need something, and what a fantastic bike shop. I have been in a few times, and always left feeling satisfied. I have bought my expensive high end road and mountain bikes in, and had expert advice, and have also bought my friends bikes (old retro & crappy bikes) and the attitude has always been the same regardless of which bike I bring in. They always seem genuinely interested in what I want to do, and offer their opinion without the ego that you tend to get at some bike shops. It seems that safety and rider satisfaction are higher on the list than sales and up-selling, and they always try to fix something before replacing it. They have done the research and ordered me items that I could not find anywhere, both expensive and even cheap small parts and they arrive within the week. There are at least 5 or 6 bike shops closer to me, but I'm happy to make the trip across town. The only downside is that they are always busy, but always worth the wait. Servicing is always done on the day if I book it in advance, drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. With their free courtesy bikes too (that are great fun to ride), and reasonable service pricing, I would say they are the best bike shop in Melbourne, and I have frequented most of them!
5 stars all round, well done, go VELO!
