What has happened to this place... it used to be great?
After some years of not having been here, our family attended the Mexican Hacienda on a Sunday night. We were served a pitiful meal, equivalent to bad, fast food cafeteria quality and presentation. Servings were small, the food looked dumped on the plate from a can/pack, and no taste. It felt like the chef had no experience in either Mexican food or food serving generally. It was a dismal experience, and it really hurt to pay the $70 bill. The decor is well past its use by date - faded flag on wall, worn out carpet. We pass the place and wonder why people go there. Perhaps we lucked out and got an off night for the place?

Arthur has been cutting my hair for years. He is a wonderful cutter. He responds with calm to my infrequent whims of 'feeling like a change', and is able to suggest styles that suit my personality. In fact, I am comfortable to say, ' just cut it however!'.
He has coloured my hair also and is happy to give colour advice on my personal colouring attempts.
He is very reasonably priced and very professional. My kids like going to Arthur cutting their hair too. I often recommend Arthur to my friends.

Alex and his team painted the exterior of our weatherboard house which - after 20 years of neglect - was extremely weathered. A friend had recommended him initially.
Alex was always friendly, polite, flexible and helpful. He kept in regular communication with what they were doing (eg progress and impact of rain) and if we needed to do anything (we weren't ready with our colours when we decided to go ahead).
The quality of their work was to the highest standard, especially considering the amount of preparation required, and they gave us the chance to oversee their work and request extra detailing as we wanted.
Alex also did some plastering inside on our damaged lathe and plaster walls, and repaired a verandah post which had rotted.
His pricing was very competitive and his quote was the best value.
We were thrilled with the results - it feels like a new house. He did a fantastic job. I will definately use Saivan Painting if I need more painting done. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex!
