The best hot chips ever!!! And great value as far as hot chips go too. We find it really hard to pass this shop without being tempted to buy their chips.
We went there for valentine's day to use the rock climbing pinnacle. We had a blast. It was something a little different to do and for $8 we were allowed to have as many goes as we wanted. We had someone there to show us what to do and to supervise and give advice and encouragement. We just went at it until our arms were aching adn we couldn't climb any more.
Approximate cost: $8
We love going to the bakery when we get hungry at the shops and Baker's Delight has all our favourites including the BBQ bonanza twist which is our family favourite. It satisfies the hunger pains for teh whole family without blowing the budget.
Approximate cost: $5.80
For a small local library this place was packed with good things. they have an excellent selection of toys that can be borrowed out. We borrowed a wooded pram/buggy that our son plays with all day long. He sits in it to watch tv and gets his 1 year old brother and us to push him around in it. They also a little play area that our boys enjoy and never want to leave. There is a park just outside so it's a great place to take the kids to entertain them.
A fantastic library. Very spacious and a huge range of books for every age. One of the biggest and well stocked libraries I've seen. they have an excellent play space for the children which is entirely enclosed so you can do a little reading or relaxing without losing the kids. They have a cubby and little gym with a slide and a puppet theatre. They offer several storytime and baby rhyme time sessions and I was so impressed that they offer a facility for family history research as we have been working on compiling our family history.
Had our air con regased here because they advertised a special. We had no problems with them. There wasn't anything particularly outstanding but with the number of mechanics we've had problems with lately, this isn't such a bad thing.
Approximate cost: $80
I always like to check Dimmey's first because they have such a wide range of things, I'm often surprised at the treasures I find in there. I love the baby/children's things. Very affordable.
Incredibly friendly and helpful. Best real estate agents I've ever come across. Nothing was too much to ask of them. They has taken note of everything I had said and remembered it a couple of days later. Very impressive.
We were looking for ways to give our toddler and baby learning and growing experiences during my husband's uni break, and hippo house was exactly that. Our toddler had a blast and didn't stop running and playing despite how tired he got. There was something there for every age so even our little baby got to play with new toys. The big slide is fantastic. The environment was as kidproof and safe as play equipment can be made.
Approximate cost: $7 per child
This is a walk in service. You can't make appointments so you never know how long you are going to be waiting just to see and doctor and when you do it's just any random doctor. We rarely see the same doctor twice, which is ok sometimes, but when you have ongoing problems or have to come back after an ultrasound or with an illness that isn't clearing up you have to start at square one. I don't like that, and I often don't like the wait time because you can't make appointment, it's not fun when you are sick or when you've got sick and grumpy little ones.
