Standard takeaway food joint conveniently located just off the main rd heading into Beenleigh. Their sandwiches are fine and they sell the usual hot box items as well. Always busy but you don't have to wait too long to order your food.

I sometimes work in the Yatala/Stapylton area and I have found that Jak's is one of the better places to order lunch. Their hot box is full of freshly cooked goodies and their sandwiches are pretty good.

Better than most your standard take-away joints. Mick's Carvery always has fresh items ready to go in their hot box and their sandwiches are pretty good too. Would recommend this takeaway place to anyone who works in the area.

The Yatala Pie Shop is an institution so you MUST try one of their pies. My favourite is the steak, bacon and cheese and my girlfriend enjoys their chicken pie. The secret is their pastry is good and so are in the insides - you can actually see pieces of meat! They also have lots of sweet pastry items too like the old fashioned match stick and long donut with jam and cream. All yummy.

I usually grab my lunch from Zamba's Snackbar. They offer good standard food and their hot box is always full with fresh items to tempt the taste buds. Great place for sandwiches and the like.

I had lunch at Malaysia Makanan today with my girlfriend and I had Singapore Noodle and she ordered one of the daily lunch-time specials of Chicken Laksa. My noodles were very good and quite spicy to boot. My girlfriend enjoyed her Laksa very much. We would be happy to go back again and try one of the many other dishes on offer.

When I visit my relatives in Wynnum we always buy a large quantity of fish and chips for everyone. Conveniently located on the Wynnum foreshore you can eat your food whilst looking out over the water in Moreton Bay and then have a stroll along the beach. The quality of fish is always of a high standard and it is reasonably priced.

Nice place to visit for a coffee and cake. Close to the water near Manly harbour and this area has a village atmosphere. Check out the glass cabinet for the latest cakes on offer as well as wraps and quiches. Friendly service with a smile.
