We were 8 mum's looking for somewere to meet and joined the playgroup. At the time our little ones were between 10 - 12 months old. The toys were seperated into age groups but it always seemed the toys were all mixed up making it dangerous for our kids. hen it came to summer our babies were roasting in there as there was no airconditioning.

You walk in and there are people everywhere, you can hardly see the stalls. You fight your way to see them and there is so much 2nd hand baby and kids stuff that you don't know where to start. My advice is leave the pram at home (and kids if you can!) If your after something for the kids you're more than likely to find it there at a great price.

I have been going to the Joondalup Hogs Breath since they opened for everything from birthday celebrations to last minute dining. No matter how full they are they always seem to get you in. The food is the best around and the staff are alot of fun. The variety of food is also better than you'd expect.

I have a 20 month old and a 12 year old and both love going to Fun Station. The fact that the parents can sit down for a coffee or a meal is a bonus. The toddler area needs a little updating as some of the toys are getting a bit old and broken. There also needs to be more supervision by staff as a lot of older kids are going into the toddler area and making it unsafe for the little ones.

My daughter doesn't like sitting stll for photo's and the photographer didn't make any effort to try to coach her into smiling for the camera. It was more like we were taking up her precious time than her wanting to help us.
Approximate cost: $350
My little girl is not one for sitting still for photo's but at Make Believe the photographer - the same one I went to 10 years ago for my older daughter - is willing do make a total fool of herself to get some great photos. Every photo turned out great and the quality was terrific.

I put the kids to bed, the hubby in front of the TV and sit in front of the computer and do my weekly food shopping. No fighting for a car park, no dragging the screaming kids around the supermarket - IT'S FANTASTIC!!
Approximate cost: $200
Everyone seems to give out vouchers for dstore so I am ordering from them all the time. The specials and products that come in for special occassions eg Valentines day are great for people who don't have time to get to the shops and look around.

I have bought everything from computer equipment, camping gear and outdoor products and have been very impressed each time. The delivery is cheap and fast, the products are really cheap - way below cost and the range is great,

If your not a skinny trendy young person don't expect to be served! My gorgeous 12 year old walked in first and these stuck up late teen girls were all "what can I get you?" "Do you want to try these?" Then I walked in and they didn't know we were together and being the over weight mid 30's that I am, I was totally ignored! Little did they know that I was looking for shoes for me not my daughter.
