With age-specific play areas, Amber's Playhouse seemed a great option after my 2 year old daughter had spent time being knocked over by older children at mixed age play centres. However I was rather disappointed with our first visit there, where despite the signs, I found 3 mostly unsupervised older children of approximately 7 - 10 years of age playing / running / riding around in the 2 - 4 year old play area, who managed to knock her over twice. I didn't complain to anyone, but the staff members were so far away that I would have had to have packed up all my kids to walk to the other end of the centre to get someone. Our second visit was a little better, however the equipment in that area is very run-down with the inflatable objects on the jumping castle broken, vinyl mats/blocks ripped and a merry-go-round that costs extra for the kids to have a ride! I had to wonder where the money is going ... although the large play equipment for school aged children looked to be in better condition. Babies from 12 months of age cost $5 and 2 - 4 year olds $7.50 This will stop us from going now, as I have 3 children and a visit will now cost me 17.50 - even at member rates is still too expensive to justify when McDonalds or Hungry Jacks playgrounds cost me a 50 cent cone and my daughter has just as much fun!

Approximate cost: $7.50 for a toddler

A regular favourite of ours. Different styles of pizza toppings to suit anyone. Great value. Easy to mix and match. Convenient little menu card that fits easily on the fridge, and spells out prices and options very clearly, so there's no unpleasant surprises!

Great place for take-away, which we've done a few times. The serves are reasonable quantity and taste great. They have some food available under a warmer, and one of our recent purchases came from this, which was less impressive than what we're used to from Rich Maha, so I'd recommend menu items that are not pre-cooked. They prepare the dishes pretty quickly anyway, so even if what you order has to be cooked on the spot it won't take long.

Every time we've ordered we've been impressed with the meals. We have mainly used Han Palace for take-away - our meals have always been ready in the timeframe they've provided, with plenty in them to feed everyone. Dishes containing meat and vegetables have always had enough meat in them to keep everyone happy. Reasonably priced.

This store has some fantastic nappy options which are both eco-friendly and economical alternatives to usual disposable nappies. Their bulk flushable nappy liners (Eenees brand) were the cheapest I had found anywhere, including on the internet (once postage is included). They stock a variety of other Eenees products at very reasonable prices. They also sell other baby products such as manchester items.

This review is for Nappy Wash Service, Braeside VIC

I was given a nappy wash service as a gift for after my twins were born. I previously did cloth nappies for my daughter, doing all the washing on my own, so although I wanted to do cloth again for the twins, I knew I'd be time-poor. Nappy wash service made it so easy. They sent info on how to fold nappies in case you didn't alreay know, other general information, provided the bins and deodorisers. I was able to start the service when I chose and adjust quantities of nappies as necessary. They were always soft & clean ... I only ever came across 1 nappy with a stain on it (it was just a stain - it was washed) and I had 60 nappies every week for four months!

I have been able to obtain products here that I could not locate anywhere else except online, including maternity bras in larger cup sizes. It was so nice to be able to try on the bras in the store rather than sending them back and forth to an online store until I got the size right! The service was wonderful and staff know what they're talking about. Prices were generally RRP, similar to other locations.

Huge array of toys, clothing and baby essentials such as prams, bassinets, car seats & capsules. They have both new and second hands products for purchase, as well as products for hire - including toys, car seats/capsules. They were terrific in their service - we had 2 capsules booked for hire, but didn't know when our twins would arrive. They were happy to put them aside from the time that we thought they might come but the duration of hire didn't start until we collected them, which was about 6 weeks later!

I found this op-shop to be easily laid out, easy to find things, and with a great variety of childrens-wear, which is separated by size and type. The prices of their children's wear is very reasonable, even for an op-shop. It has been a great shop for me, as I have twins with reflux who go through 3 - 4 outfits per day and are growing fast!

I used to hate going to dentists, until I started going here. They are so gentle and experienced. I can usually get a non-urgent appointment within a week or two during business hours, or within a month after hours with my usual dentist there. I feel completely confident in their work.
