After the waitress misunderstood our order, they made no attempt to rectify the situation - they did not offer to change the meal and continually said it was our fault. Then they charged us for it at the end of the night even though it was a meal and I had ordered a smaller entree size. We paid for the full meal as we knew they weren't going to budge and we didn't want to create a scene. As we got up to leave the owner aggressively came up to us and asked 'What's your problem?' I said there was a misunderstanding and knew things were starting to go pear-shaped. As we started to walk out he shouted obscenities at us in Serbian across the entire restaurant. As we walked down the street, the waitress and the owner came out on the street and kept yelling at us in English and Serbian as we were walking away. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had anywhere - and I've eaten in restaurants across the globe. I wish I could give this place a minus rating - even 1 star is too good for what we experienced.

a huge selection, very helpful staff, a wonderful kids range, gift wrapping, a frequent buyer program that actually gives you something (!) and great coffee next door - buying books doesn't get any better than this - in my opinion the best book store in Melbourne. But beware - upon entering expect to be spellbound for a least an hour!

Ann Lewis Shoes is a children's shoe fitting specialist. We have been going to Ann for years because she has a terrific range of shoes (our babies had their first shoes from there - now they're getting their school shoes too!), and she really cares about looking after kids feet. Especially since our kids have difficult to fit feet.
