Good if you need a freshly cooked hot snack from your local shops. Pretty fast, attentive service, though everything is cooked to order, so do expect some wait time. Reasonably priced, and staff are quite friendly.

Open 7 days till late, so you can grab asian groceries at any time. Fairly good prices, with fantastic labelling for an asian grocery store. Best I've seen. Probably not as cheap overall as the store down the road, but still pretty good. Great if you want items in bulk, as they have a huge warehouse of bulk goods at really good prices.

Overall, good fresh sushi and quite nice cooked dishes. A bit on the expensive side, though I suppose Japanese food almost always is - not too bad if you're in a big group and sharing dishes. Star of the night was the grilled salmon sushi.

Approximate cost: $20

The cheapest, healthiest lunch in Blacktown? Their $3 pork rolls are a slightly westernised take on the traditional Vietnamese version, but taste as good as ever. Super friendly staff who remember exactly how I like my roll every time.

Approximate cost: $3 for a pork roll

The best and cheapest shop in Parramatta for the elusive Vietnamese pork roll! Unlike some shops, they are very generous with the fillings, especially the pate which is amazing. They also have a good range of cakes, as well as hot pastries - also some of the cheapest in Parramatta. Great specials on bar cakes from time to time too.

Approximate cost: $4 for a pork roll

Great value on asian groceries and vegetables. Generally much cheaper than the asian grocery store one street down, though price labelling is not always the best. Service is very efficient, though not always all that friendly and personable.

One of the only yum cha restaurants left in Parramatta. Good enough to satisfy your cravings. Their range includes all the basics, but not much more than that. Tasty and reasonably priced.

Good stop for a simple chinese meal. Great location, right next to Westfield. Not at all crammed, looks pretty clean, quite efficient service. Extensive menu. Breakfast specials recommended. Also try the chinese spaghetti!

Amazing range of dishes to choose from! Highly recommended you share with a group of friends, so you get to try a little of everything. Free tea. My favourite dishes are the salmon skin roll and the softshell crab. Unbelievable!

Went with a group of workmates for lunch. We all ordered different noodle dishes, but they all turned out much too SWEET! Good serving size though, just need a little recipe refinement. Don't expect very attentive service either.

Approximate cost: $12-15
