I Dream A Highway is a beautiful shop on High Street in Northcote. They have some amazing products, like Guess Who badges that take you back to the 80s.

The design of the shop is really well done and they have some unique products from Melbourne designers as well as from interstate and overseas.

Webflicks is an online DVD company where you pay a monthly fee and DVD's are sent to you in the mail. This is the first time we had used this sort of service and although we were worried we would not get value for money, after a year we realised it was a fantastic thing to do. Whenever I used to go to the Video Store I would always not know what to get, where as with webflicks if I think of something I want to see I can log on and put it in my list. They have a pretty good range, only a couple of times something I put in wasn't there. They come in the mail fast and the quality of DVD has been good, any problems and they will send out a replacement DVD.

Bruce and Kerry that run the Upwey Post Office are really lovely and friendly. I hear a lot of stories about people having problems with the people working in their local Post Office, but at Upwey they are always so lovely.

The staff that work at Foodworks are always really friendly and kind. They often offer to help people carry larger loads of groceries to their car. They have a good range of products for a small supermarket, although we have purchased a couple of things that have been out of date.

Jenny, the woman who runs Kids In Berlin is really friendly. They have unique items by local designers so you will stand out from the crowd by supporting local designers. The shop always has interesting products to look at.

Mike's is a special place, they have amazing and beautiful things in there. Make sure you check out their shop on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, just near RobRoy!
