This place was so interesting, and unexpectedly good! The restaurant itself if tiny, with a little sushi boat circling a small space where the Chef prepares fresh sushi. The owners are Vietnamese so naturally they have Vietnamese love songs playing in the background and of course, the massive waterfall poster along the wall.

The sushi there is fantastic though, especially the special varieties which are made fresh in front of you. They are so innovative with how they make sushi - different combinations, inside out sushi, blowtorching the outside of the sushi, crispy sushi, sushi pizza etc etc. It's awesome.. And the owners are so friendly and welcoming.

It's just a great place and offers something unique and good.

In the debate of Chef Lagenda vs Laksa King, I will go on record and say I side with Chef Lagenda. I just love the variety they have in their menu. They have traditional soups, authentic authentic Malaysian dishes, and of course, bubbletea. And I feel that their laksa is better than the laksa at Laksa King.

The only downside is service is not very attentive and sometimes forgetful (when the waitress does not write down the order). And also the place is tiny so gets packed out. Oh, and BYO booze only.

I like to get my pizza from here for a number of reasons. Firstly, they deliver for free And their delivery offers eftpos/credit facilities, which is handy when you can't be bothered leaving the house and you don't have cash.

Secondly, their food as actually really good! Compared with other pizza places in the West, their ingredients are quite fresh. AND their pasta is actually really good!

Thirdly, the price isn't bad at all. Considering delivery is free, prices are still pretty low. They have a couple of great deals too that are excellent value for money.

Lastly, they're really flexible with what goes on the pizza/in the pasta. You can customise at no extra charge (within reason), and don't have to feel judged if you want to mix things around.

Highly recommend it!

This is my favourite place to get Pho around Footscray, among the many Vietnamese restaurants there. They pretty much specialise in Pho but they also have a variety of other noodle soups, broken rice, and rice noodles. The food always comes out quick and hot.

Try some of their drinks too.. they do an excellent Vietnamese coffee and the fresh orange juice is delicious and frothy.

This place is my all-time favourite Chinese Restaurant in Melbourne. The food is authentic Chinese and excellent value for money, particularly the seafood, which is always fresh and delicious (as you would expect in Footscray). Try their roast duck too, it's phenomenal.

Sometimes the older ladies can seem a bit grumpy but from what I know first hand of Chinese aunties is that that's to be expected and they'll still want to serve you well and make sure walk out nice and full. In my experience they're great with recommendations and the chefs can pretty much do anything you request.

It's not a fancy place, but I personally like the tacky suburban Chinese restaurant feel.
