We stayed here as we booked it as a mystery deal on wotif and had an early flight out the next morning. It was a bit luxurious in some ways however it wasn't as great as expected. The carpet outside our bathroom and in our hall to the door was all wet when we arrived, and the heating/cooling system was particularly loud so much so that we went without during the night. The price for wifi was ridicilous at $15 for two hours - you would think it would come free with the price of the hotel! On a positive note though they had a lovely salt water pool which was relaxing after being on our feet all day, and the drive to the airport in the morning was short.

Approximate cost: $145

We arrived fairly late here on our way back from Wagga Wagga and stopped the night. The room was large and modern and we were provided with a cute mini bottle of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee. The bathroom in particular was very modern with a large square showerhead that gave a luscious shower, however the tiles in there were very cold. The stay was very comfortable however it was disappointing that if we wanted to use the wifi we had to pay extra

Approximate cost: $120 twin

We stayed here for 2 nights while in Wagga Wagga, it was alright for accommodation but overpriced.. We had a twin share room but there was not much room around the beds - hardly room for the suitcases. There was a heat pump but the lowest temperature it could go on was 21 which was just too hot for during the night (yet it was cold without it). We were provided with extra blankets upon request however.
It was also disappointing that although we hung our towels correctly to save them being washed (as per instructed- to save the environment), they took them and washed them anyway! The shower was in a bath and not at all good for tall people as my head was close to the ceiling and I am not even that tall.

The wifi however was free and very fast so that was a positive thing, along with free parking around the hotel. Plus the hotel was right near the main shopping strip so we could easily walk!

Approximate cost: $124 (twin)

We were looking for somewhere to stay around 1.5 hours out of Melbourne on our way to Wagga Wagga and came across this very reasonably priced motel. We didn't check in till after 10pm but everything was left ready for us - even the heater was turned on to warm up our room. The room was clean and tidy and had all the facilities we needed including a toaster. We left early the next morning without any trouble. I would definitely recommend this motel and I will come back anytime I am up this way!

Approximate cost: $90 (twin)

This review is for Cold Rock, North Hobart TAS

This is a really awesome place to go but only for the occasional treat and it really is for us as we don't have one in Launceston where we are from but occasionally I have been to the Hobart one 2-3 times. Luckily they have dairy free sorbet for people like me who can't eat dairy so this is definitely a bonus and there is lots of addins to choose from that I can have too. While I do think that cold rock is really nice it is really expensive, and each addin costs a lot compared to what you could buy it for yourself. Of course they are a business and need to profit but it seems a bit overpriced. I think the shakes work out better but I can't have them because of the dairy.

Also last time I went there the young guy that was serving was very helpful and talkative and even helped suggest a few good combinations of flavours. Great service, but expensive so its only for a treat (even if I did live nearby)

I decided to try a new dentist as they were on our private health's preferred providers list and are only 5 minutes from our house. They were only running about 5 minutes late which is better than most. The check-up was very thorough. The costs seemed a little high especially as I was given no choice but to have xrays while there which weren't covered by private health. The overall experience was good, just not looking forward to the cost again for my next checkup though I think its comparable to anywhere!

Great location and great price. Unfortunately that is about where the greatness stops! It is good for a cheap place to stay though if you only need to sleep, and eat. To talk to someone at the counter always takes forever, and often we had to come back later to talk to someone with more authority or knowledge. There are kitchens where you can cook your own food up, and communal fridges though I wouldn't leave food in their as ours (even labelled as they said) got stolen. The rooms are tiny and get very hot as they only have a small fan on the ceiling. The communal bathrooms are okay but not overly clean. You can hire towels for a deposit fee. Despite this, I have stayed here a few times though as it is so cheap and we only needed somewhere to be during the night and this place is so close to everything. They do have a pool table and a nice bar/club on the first floor too.

A group of 4 of us went to Adelaide for the week and we were planning on staying in a backpackers however after a quick search we found this was cheaper plus it meant we would get our own private rooms and bathroom. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had air conditioning, a balcony, kitchen, bathroom (including washing machine and drier) and a tiny lounge room. The apartment was small but comfortable and there was the option for room service each day. There was also undercover parking which we took advantage of which saved us having to worry about the car. We were really happy with this place for the price we paid!

We stopped here on our drive back from Adelaide to Melbourne. It was worth the stop and the cost was fairly good, though I wouldn't recommend taking a massive drive to come see it. It was good for a look though all you can do is walk in and out of about 90 buildings. They are set up inside to look like they did back in the day and there is wax sculptures of people inside. It is interesting but get a bit sick of it by the end. We looked around for around 2 hours which I think was enough, though you could easily spend a bit longer (but we had to continue on our drive)

This review is for Animal Medical Centre - Veterinary Hospital, Launceston TAS

Our cat broke her leg on the Sunday of a public holiday and we had to get her to a vet but of course most of them were closed. However the animal medical centre was open and we called up and they fitted us in that day. They dealt with the injury efficiently and explained what was going on to us. The cost was a lot more than we would pay at our usual vet, and there was a surcharge as it was out of standard business hours but we had to get our cat to the vet ASAP so we had no choice.
