We dined here with 10 girlfriends. Food not the worst I've had but the service leaves a LOT to be desired. We could have easily had several more drinks had anyone bothered to ask. We had to eventually go and ask for the dessert menu. The evening we went, a Friday night, they were not busy at all so not as if they wait staff were run off their feet. Very noisy and very hard to have a conversation. There are plenty of better places with more attentive staff and better pricing in the area. If the wait staff had a bit more training and smiled, perhaps we may return.

I was approached by one of the workers from this company (it has several names-(sss tree lopping, sharp shape sweep, sss tree services) as I arrived home as they were cutting down a neighbours tree, we hadn't intended to have any work done just yet however we negotiated a reasonable 'cash' price to remove a tall pine tree at the front of our property and two very tall poplar trees at the back that needed removal. They were quick to cut trees down and mulched front tree although they left three huge sections of the trunk across our front path-couldn't get into the front door-impossible for me to move myself. The poplars at the back were only felled and left-despite the agreement to remove and mulch smaller bits and cut up the trunk to about 30 cm sections. It was towards the end of the day when one worker came to the door to tell me they had finished and they would be back the next day to finish the neighbours and my work. I though not much of this so I paid the man (silly me!- I do know better than this!) expecting them to return. They didn't return the next day so the following day I called to enquire when to expect them; on the first call-"oh I can't talk now I am driving, I'll call you back", he did but then I got "oh, it's a bad line...I'll call you back." So far no return call and the yard is a mess and I don't have access to my front door. No answer today when I have tried calling again. I wouldn't recommend this company and I am kicking myself that I paid the full amount before all work was completed. There are plenty of other tree companies to choose and I would not recommend this one!

Recently we moved house and there was no air-conditioning here so we had evap cooling installed by Paul- once again a brilliant job and we would highly recommend him and his team. In our previous house Paul also installed evap cooling and ducted heating- he did a fantastic job and that is why we got him back to put in cooling here-he is quick and cleans up after himself. Our ducts on our heating unit need replacing and we will be getting Paul back to replace this also. We have found his pricing very reasonable.

We had two trees removed today. One huge willow tree that was dangerously hanging over the neighbours house, this was skillfully and safely removed. And another tree that was just a tall trunk with a dangerous lean. We were so impressed with the professional and friendly team that came and removed the trees. They took their time to ensure that all their equipment was set up and safe before starting. Once they started they were very efficent and once finished they left the yard very clean and the wood was cut and stacked ready to be split (as requested). Very pleased and I would highly recommend SOS trees. Thanks.

Michael came out to have a look at our ducted heating system after moving into a new house, the heating system was not working. Michael replaced the part, adjusted the thermostat and we now have a lovely warm house. Very friendly and easy to dael with and we would recommend him. cost $88+parts.

We recently had our kitchen renovated. The tiling was the last thing that needed to be done. He also tiled around our laundry sink. Bryan was brilliant, we selected him based on a previous review as good tradies are hard to find. He did a very neat and quick job. He was great with advice and was easy to get on with-lovely bloke. I would highly recommend him.

After not the greatest colour and cut here recently, I wrote a review based on my experience. Joann (the owner) personally phoned me to discuss my experence and then promptly booked me in to amend my colour & cut with another hairdresser. Joann was right on the ball; ensuring that I was completely happy, which I am, and Janine, whom I saw, was great. Although initially my experience was not great (-the stylist had not previously done my hair) the follow up and effort to correct it was fantastic. So not only do they do great hair, any problems that you may have are quickly and professionally dealt with. One thing I would say is to make sure you book in with your preferred hairdresser.

We had our whole house cleaned. Our carpet was only 18 months old but with a dog and baby were really in need of a good clean. I chose this company based on the previous reviews. I did not have the same experience with this company. The cleaning guy was nice and he was punctual, but was only here for about and hour (our house is three bedrooms, lounge/dining room and two hallways that have carpet-time was for a clean and stain treatment) and many of the stains are still there as not a very through job. There was no pre-clean vacuum (Luckily I had done it just before he arrived anyway) nor was there any cleaning under the furniture-we had cleared the majority out. We also got stain protection for an additional cost, this appears to have made our carpet a bit 'sticky' and dirt attracting. It took about three days for the carpet to dry. I am very disappointed with the job done. We won't use this company again and would not recommend them based on our experience.

After my third bad hair cut at my last salon and not going to go back, I needed to find a new hair dresser. I decided to try Sandton Hair Gallery after reading other reviews on womow. I am SO glad I did. Jane cut my hair and it is the BEST hair cut I have had, ever! Jane listened to me, made suggestions and discussed how my hair is and how I wear it, Jane was able to translate that into a wonderful haircut, not only did my curly hair look great blow waved straight on leaving the salon, it looks fabulous left natural or scrunched. I am extremely happy with the result and I am now a convert! I also was very pleasantly surprised with the cost $49.00!!

When researching for a kitchen place we came across Zesta Kitchens. The staff appeared friendly however the receptionist was not very knowledgeable and not much help. We did end up purchasing our kitchen through Zesta. The follow up was non-existant and communication was lacking to say the least. We were very embarrassed when the cabinets arrived as scheduled and the driver asked about payment. We were not informed that the delivery driver was paid for the cabinets on delivery and this also happened when the tradesmen finished their work and asked for cash or cheque we had neither arranged. We thought that going through Zesta all would be paid to them and they pay it to the tradesmen. At the initial stage we were advised that we would get a letter about 10 days before outlining the process so not to worry about this, the letter still hasn't arrived. This was our first time renovating and not sure what the processes are and how to go about it and it feels like we should have done it all ourselves and not relied on Zesta to guide us as no real guidance was given. Another annoying thing is that the quote for the tradesmen were out a few hundred dollars, so with an already very tight budget and what we thought an accurate quote...allow a bit extra (the tiling will have to wait!) and one thing would be for Zesta to update the price list used for the quotes. The cabinet installer, electrician, plumber and plasterer were great, on time and did a good job. One sort of positive, the door knobs that I chose based on the display kitchen, were not the knobs supplied. When first bringing this to their attention I got little concern however when I went to the display centre is show that they were different to what I wanted and saw on display, Toby took the knobs from the display so that I could have the knobs to match my kitchen. Now the display reflects the product that will be supplied. Overall a bit disappointing but our kitchen looks great!
