Went here for a friends birthday. There was a large group of us but our orders were still bought out quite quickly. The steaks were ok, not fantastic. I remember the sauces being amazing though! The restaurant itself could do with a bit of a reno but otherwise still an ok place for dinner

The meals here are MASSIVE! If you are planning to eat here it's probably best not to eat for the rest of the day! I find some of their menu a little expensive but it is good value for money. Steaks are always perfect and the potatoes are always great. Salad can be a bit iffy though

Hands down the best sushi train I have ever been to! My husband and I will always go here for dinner if we are going to see a movie as it is right next door. We have even taken our young daughter here a few times and it has been a pleasurable experience. They are always quick to find you a table and a highchair and are willing to give up a 6 seat booth for 3 of us just to make it easier with children. The sushi is the best I have ever eaten and I love that it is fully licensed as well.

My mum and sisters took me here for my hens night as I was pregnant at the time and obviously didn't want to go out drinking. We never do anything like this so it was fantastic to try something new. My sister and I shared a huge sundae and it was so deliscious but between the two of us we couldn't even finish it! There was a huge line up to get in and it was very busy because it was halloween as well. The staff were very attentive though and kept everyone in the line updated on what was going on and offered lollies and things to everyone in line. I have wanted to go back but just haven't made it there yet!!

My now husband and I went to this restaurant on one of our very first dates and I still remember it very clearly. The food was so fresh and so crisp and all together amazing! I have since been to Vietnam and it is definitely authentic! The staff are really lovely and the whole experience was one of my favourite memories!!

Max Brenner is one of my all time favourite indulgences! There is usually a massive line up trying to get in but the wait is well worth it! I have been there with some girlfriends and our children and we were very well welcomed! I felt so comfortable in there I was even able to breastfeed my baby right at the table. Love the menu, particularly the choc fudge brownie sundae!!!

Went to this cafe on the weekend and the service was really lovely. It is a fully decked out 1950s style diner with lot of Elvis memorabilia everywhere. When we first went through the door the music was really loud. The song stopped and the staff noticed our daughter asleep in the pram. 3 different staff at 3 different times asked if it was ok to play the music because try we're worried about waking her up. We found this very thoughtful!! Food was quite nice too and reasonably priced. Was a good experience.

Hands down the best restaurant in Ipswich. My absolute favourite. Fourthchild has a very small menu, maybe 6-8 dishes available for lunch but all are made with local fresh ingredients that are sourced from the markets that very day. They have an utterly amazing array of cakes and sweets. The whole vibe of the place is modern and quirky but very down to earth and friendly at the same time. I love their homemade lemonade! Their is nothing else like it! And the raspberry mudcake was like heaven in your mouth. I would eat here every day if I could. Excellent value for money.

My husband and I went to Stumps hotel a few weeks ago for our 2nd wedding anniversary and first date without our baby girl. I had heard lots of reviews about the food here being fantastic. As it was only early we decided we would try out the Tapas Tree restaurant within the hotel. The food was ok. Nothing super spectacular and we didn't find the value for money was that great. The atmosphere out on the deck was lovely and the staff were very helpful and attentive as we had never had tapas before. Overall it was an ok experience but probably didn't live up to the hype I expected!

Country quality meats in lowood have a fantastic range for such a small country town. The meat is always of high quality and very well packed. My favourite is probably their leg ham. It is always fresh and well cured. They are very friendly and easy to deal with. No orders large or small are ever a problem!
