Have been visiting Steven at Mitcham on and off for about a decade. I don't have a regular hairdresser there, however I have not had a bad hair experience yet. The salon is always clean and has a fairly easygoing atmosphere. I do like the massage chairs. As someone with fairly unruly, curly hair, I can verify that they do have staff who know how to deal with curls, which I don't always find elsewhere. A simple cut & blowdry is around $60, of course colour/styling starts to get more expensive. I'm always happy when I leave there.
Approximate cost: $60
I have been attending Crafter for almost nine years now, and I find that generally all the staff, from reception to doctors, are friendly, helpful and efficient. I am not always able to see my GP when I want to, but I have never seen a doctor there who hasn't been as thorough and helpful as my own. Only downside is that it can take time to get an appointment with your own GP, even with a couple of week's notice, which makes the point of having a particular GP a little moot. They bulk bill for concessions, which has been incredibly helpful to me as a student. They are always busy, and service a lot of people in the local area, so I take the disappointments lightly, and know that there will always be a good doctor available should I have an urgent need.
Visited this salon for the first time thanks to a Living Social voucher. Therapist was very friendly and easy to chat to, felt very comfortable and pleased with the mani + pedi I received. Lovely premises, very clean and relaxing.
Discovered this place only in the last couple of weeks and have already been back & introduced friends to their amazing food and service. The all day breakfasts are fantastic, highest quality ingredients with a focus on clean, organic and locally sourced produce. The coffee I had there is the best I have tasted in a long time. The service was really relaxed and friendly, and they even had a Dalek tea-cosy! I can't express just how excited this cafe makes me. Have also tried their lunch menu, and my (gluten-intolerant) friend rated the Caeser salad as the best she's ever had. High, but very worthy, praise!
Agree with previous reviewer that the setting is humble but don't let that deter you from the excellent services. The place is clean and well set up, the services well priced and I felt very comfortable the entire time.
The salon is small & shared with a couple of other complementary businesses (make-up & a beautician), and I have never felt so comfortable at a first appointment. David is lovely and I felt myself in very good hands, he listened to what I wanted and made it clear that he understood me as well. I'm really happy with the resulting colour and cut, and I really enjoyed my time spent in his salon.
Lovely little cafe just down the road from my family home. Really great to have such a place within walking distance. Their breakfast was amazing, best roasted tomatoes I have ever tasted! Very friendly and welcoming, fresh, quality ingredients and a really funky atmosphere.
Great food, proper 'bakery fare'. Coffee is reliable, love the bottomless cups of tea. Nice, comfy, casual dining.
Really friendly staff and reliable coffee. Food is not cheap but there are good deals with their reward program (e.g. $2 Banana Bread during April) which was awesome.
They make good coffee. However for the most part their service is terrible - staff are generally unfriendly and I have witnessed rudeness to patrons.
