Seriously, if you are looking for a road-trip stopoff coming back to Brissy from the Sunshine, please, take the time out to visit this awesome cute authentic, family orientated pub. We missed the sunday spit roast by an hour but it didn't matter. They had a neat little live band playing and just the cool, laid back atmosphere was enough. We wanted to stay longer. There is an open lawn where people sit and the kids play. Be early for the Sun roast. You won't be disappointed.
I'm a fan of their salt & pepper squid - it comes with a peppery lemony dipping sauce - really tasty. Good value for price and the service is really quick. Def recommend for lunch meal
As an expat Kiwi, I am so pleased to see these guys have opened up a stone's throw away from work. And believe me, they do Owsome burgers. Yes, I love the fish and chip burgers (yes, they put chips in the burger!) and how can you not say no to L&P!! yum yum choice bro
These guys have wonderful Tues two for one specials during the week and they have loyalty cards. I had the Ten-O(?) last night. It's the Hawaiian with wasabi mayo. Oh it was delicious. Yes the ingredients was slopped together. Ummm that's a real burger for you!!! Not like neat n plastic McDonalds. They're not amazing amazing but if you get their specials, they are really yum and value for money. Their chips are salted and herb basted. Definitely worth a shot.
A fairly new little restaurant here in New Farm offering wonderful craft beers, an assortment of different kinds of spirits and a delightful menu. I took so long to choose! Yes it's pricey but you get what you pay for. Excellent service and excellent quality in food. I had the BBQ Wings to share and they were divine!
Love the mushroom pizza. If you're looking for a pizza that's flavorsome and authentic, this is it. Always busy and some parking on the streets. They do delivery too.
Had heard good things but was pretty disappointed with my buttered salmon takeaway. The sauce was so watered down and the accompaniments were sparse. Haven't been back which is very unfortunate because it's the closest restaurant to my house :-(
I'm going to be the odd-one out here. I didn't have a very positive experience. As much as I loved the concept of healthy vegetarian options, I can't remember exactly what I ordered but I do remember that it was clearly a frozen item - not fresh. That is the source of my negative review. I think I am the only one as everyone else seems to love it :c/
Purchased takeaway buttered chicken here a while back. I remember the wait was a long time even though it was early in the night and not so many diners. Apart from that, I remember the meal was delicious! There is plenty of parking under the building too. Handy location.
Dracula's is an excellent place to go for Birthdays or Parties of the sorts. As soon as we walked in there were characters greeting us all dressed up. The show itself was excellent but the only downside was the meals which were only ok and I expected more for the high price paid.
