This review is for Fish 'n' Chix, Castle Hill NSW

This fish and chips, burger shop at the food court of the mall always has a queue (especially on a busy weekend lunch). Their fish and chips are good value, as well as their chicken burger. The food portion is good, and the service of the friendly staff is excellent.

Everytime we go to Hog's Breath there are not a lot of patrons - maybe it is just the time we go - but this has been random times: lunch, dinner, weekday, weekend. So, not sure if that says anything about the place. However, I find the meals a little bit pricier than average, although the meals are consistent in quality, taste and look. We usually order a steak, burger and kids meal. The food is tasty. I think service is ok - there is one attendant assigned to your table. If lucky, the attendant will be pleasant. On one or two occasions our attendant was not.

My family always dines at this restaurant - and we have recruited other family and friends who are now patrons too! We love the place, the food, the service is good too. We always order Mussaman Beef curry - very tender and tasty. We also order soft shell crab with curry sauce and the pork mince with eggplant. Great value, good size and the food comes out fast (but not too fast if that makes sense!). Apparently they've been around for more than 20 years now!

This review is for The House Of Herbs And Roses, Dural NSW

I have been here a number of times for lunch and afternoon tea, and I have always loved the shabby chic interiors of the cafe. It was especially lovely decorated one visit at Christmas time. The menu changes, and the food was quite nice and flavourful - large serving size. They usually have some cakes as well, which are not just your typical chocolate cake, but rather a nice cafe cake style. I prefer staying indoor, just because outside can get quite noisy - it is located on a big road. The nursery at this cafe sells a variety of herbs and roses!

Loving the ambiance of this cafe/restaurant - quiet, family friendly 'country style', lots of plants, trees, outdoor tables. The food is great, reasonably priced, and decent meal size. I had the salmon fish cake and it was surprisingly good. The staff are nice and friendly too.

This review is for Chapters Cafe, Castle Hill NSW

A trip to the library is never complete without having Chapters' brownie (gluten free) warmed up. It is just such a moist brownie, but of course sweet. Their coffee is not bad either. I like the option of dining in or out in the umbrellas.

This review is for Casey's Toys, Castle Hill NSW

The shop has lots of good value toys. Some toys are cheaper than the leading big stores. There is a great range of toys, crafts, gadgets... for the small kids to the bigger boys. My kids and I love going through their aisles - never a dull time inside this shop. The service is not too bad either.

I am loving the newly renovated maccas. I can order from some of the tables, there are more self service kiosks, the automated door is handy especially when carrying a baby and brown paper bag. It is usually easy to find parking at this store. Though half of the time I prefer the drive through - that is a breeze. With regards to service, I'd say it is generally good. However, occasionally there's that one person that's having a bad day.. which we all have anyway. So, overall still good service.

This review is for Lollipop's Playland & Cafe, Castle Hill NSW

Attended a party here on the weekend and I thought it was a great venue to hold a kids birthday. The play equipment was set out pretty well - the place was spacious enough to accommodate a number of big/little kids and parents. The party rooms were spacious too. There were enough tables for parents to watch and have a cup of coffee. The place seemed clean enough for me. The staff also were friendly and knew their stuff.

This review is for Castle Hill RSL Club, Castle Hill NSW

First time visitor (and new member) to the Castle Hill RSL last weekend, and I was happy with the play area facility for kids - there was a canopy covering and just enough to keep kids entertained... Oh, and there was even a strict marshall at the gate (checking if kids meet the height limit!!). The food was typical RSL food, which was not too fancy but not too bad either. The ambience was great - good lighting, the tables/chairs/toilets/parents rooms were well maintained. I liked the ceiling fans and the outdoor couch - reminiscent of a mini hotel. I would definitely be back, if not just for the enclosed play area!
