This review is for Bright's Old Fashioned Lolly Shop, Bright VIC

This is a quaint lolly shop, with so many options for hard boiled lollies and confectionery everywhere. Spoilt for choice. The music was playing old time songs that talk about lollies or chocolate. It was very cute and I loved my Toffee Apple boiled lollies and Raspberry Drops. The only problem I had was that hanging all around the shop (often by the neck) were 'Golliwogs'. They hung on every wall and in the window. Nevermind the fact that these dolls laced the walls, they were dressed in maid and waiter outfits. I hope they change their decor because it does stop me going back, I was thoroughly offended.

Eating in this unassuming restaurant took me straight back to Eastern Europe. The kitschy interior, the smell of filling food and gorgeous service. The fare is simple, but delicious and FILLING...and I had a light meal compared to 'Das Monsterschnitzel'. That is worth a mention as well, the menu has been made with great humour and fun, definitely a return venue for me, I can't wait for a cold winters night to go down and have a good old fashioned Strogganoff!!!

Amazing selection of titles as previous reviews suggest. I really enjoy trash and exploitation cinema from the early days and they have quite an extensive collection. If you are looking for that weird and wonderful film you once saw in a motel somewhere in Kansas that had 'that guy' in it, you may just find it here, or else the staff could definitely help you! Glad to see the Big Yellow and Black store next door hasn't taken over!

I really loved the kitsch interior of this quaint little place that I have walked past so often and never realised what was there. The bartender was friendly and helpful which was a brilliant start. Sat in the courtyard filled with faux vine, which made for a special kind of odd vibe. Prices are whats to be expected, will definitely head back for a drink on a warm night.

This review is for Bar None, Camberwell VIC

A secret little gem in Camberwell of all places. A brilliant bible of drinks, these guys know what they are talking about! Had the bar staff come and sit with us to explain drinks and ask how we were enjoying the place. A little higher on the price side, but made up for it in the service. If there were to be any qualms, if only small, it would be the cheapish decor, could invest in some comfier lounges and nicer curtains. Thanks for a lovely drop! Return customer here!

This review is for One One Five Cafe, Mornington VIC

A nice enough cafe on the Main street of Mornington. Had a chicken, bacon, Avocado and tomato wrap which was pretty middle of the road. It was an extremely hot day and there was no air con to be had so it wasn't the most relaxing experience. The waiters were pretty attentive and made us feel comfortable.

Had breakfast here on a warm morning on their deck. It was beautiful overlooking their front garden that reminded me of a scene from Alice in Wonderland. The Baked Eggs was a delightful dish, highly recommend it!

A novel little place to check out the decor, but the food and drink is nothing spectacular. You get a large feed, but the quality is somewhat lacking. The staff on the register seemed to be all over the place and couldn't quite get what we ordered right. When we played a special song from the Jukebox on our table we could barely hear it. Wouldn't rush back, but interesting to go and see what it would feel like to be in Grease, minus the hair gel.

This review is for Rail Plus Australia, Melbourne VIC

Just got back from a trip to Japan, on which I used a JR pass purchased from Rail Plus. I found the pass very easy to use and a perfect way to get around the country. Everything was very clearly explained by the lovely woman on reception, we had a good chortle about Disneyland. It was great value for money and will definitley get one again whether it be to Japan, Canada or Europe...I think they do other places as well.

This review is for The Readers On Vincent, Daylesford VIC

What a horrible little hovel. Two friends and I drove from Melbourne to get readings and all 3 were way off the mark and didn't even get close to telling something we didn't know. My friend was told 30 minutes into her reading that they couldn't get anything from her and had to finish. They gave her a $10 refund from an already overpriced reading ($90 for an hour). Please do me a favour and bypass this place, or try it and prepare for disappointment.
