I've been with Defence Health for several years now and have always been very impressed by their service. Claims are easy to make, and payment is made promptly. Waiting time for customer service is pretty good - usually I get straight through to someone. The premium is a lot less than the mainstream insurance agencies.

I contacted this centre because I heard that they were the best in Canberra at treating babies with reflux. My baby, who was then about 8 weeks old, screamed constantly. She would arch her back and just scream all day. I was at my wits end, feeling helpless and terrible that she was in so much pain.

We saw the Osteopath, and he said that her pain level was one of the highest he'd ever seen. And after a few weeks of treatment, we had a COMPLETELY different baby on our hands. She started sleeping better, eating better, she didn't scream as much. She even smiled for the first time.

I have no idea what they actually do, but I can assure you that it WORKS!!!!! I would recommend this centre to anyone who has an unsettled baby. They are miracle workers.

This review is for Michel's Patisserie, Jerrabomberra NSW

Although Michel's is a franchise, and the products are pretty much the same at all of their venues, I wanted to give this one a special review.

We go to this Michel's every Monday for our mothers group (about a dozen mums) and the operators are so fantastic. They don't mind the fact that we take over most of their seating with our prams and kids. They make baby chinos for the older kids and will happily warm bottles for the babies. They even give us a cake to share, completely free, because we all buy coffees and we go there so often.

They go above and beyond what I would normally expect of a shopping centre franchise cafe. Small business practice at its best. :)

We've been with Universal for about 6 years now. In that time, we've managed to purchase an investment property and develop a diverse and growing investment portfolio.

Our advisor is simply fantastic. We meet with him about every 3-4 months to talk about how things are going financially. This meeting really keeps us on track, as we have to be accountable to someone for our spending!! He has helped us weather some pretty big financial crisis and we wouldn't be in such a good position today without his advice and friendship.

I've been to this cafe a few times now, and it's always been great. The serving size is huge, and filled up even my very hungry brother who always complains about meals not being large enough. :)

A great place for coffee and cake for afternoon tea too.

I met friends for breakfast here last week. What a fantastic spot. We ate in the outdoor section, under a canopy of trees. As we ate, families arrived and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around whilst the parents enjoyed a coffee or meal. I saw quite a few bike trails around, so next time I plan on bringing the family.

The staff were very attentive and our orders didn't take too long to arrive. When the sun became hot, they put up shade umbrellas around our tables.

The meals were a little pricey, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

This review is for Lakeside Performing Arts, Penrith NSW

My daughter went to the Junior Cheerleading classes at Lakeside Performing Arts. She had so much fun!!! The classes were a mix of dance and tumbling skills. The teacher is a nationally accredited cheerleading judge, so we were very confident that the skills would be taught correctly and safely. In fact, that was our main reason for joining - my daughter was attempting all this tumbling in the backyard and I wanted to make sure she learned how to do it correctly! She also wanted to dance, so these classes were the perfect solution.

We love Dance Central!!! My daughter attends the junior jazz-funk classes and just loves it.

We chose Dance Central for a few reasons: They are very professional, and I am confident that my daughter is being taught correctly and safely, from dance professionals. They let us try the class first, before paying for a whole term, so we could see if it was suitable. They are also not strict on a uniform - as long as the kids wear something comfortable that they can move in, it's OK. Even the end of year concert doesn't have a super expensive outfit to purchase (which will only be worn once!). Her class performed in a white singlet and black bike shorts (bought cheaply from Big W), and the teacher provided the accessories for $10 per child.

This review is for Little Amigos Childcare Centre, Blaxland NSW

This is a really fantastic childcare centre. It's quite small - only two rooms. One for the babies (0-2), one for the bigger kids (2-5). The staff are super friendly, and the centre is always really well maintained and clean (not an easy task with little ones!).

I love that they are opened really early in the morning, so I can easily do the drop off without rushing to get to work on time. They also do breakfast, so I don't have to worry about that before heading out the door.

My daughter just loves it.

Really nice rural setting. They have nice large runs with both a paved undercover area (with kennel) and grassed area. The staff are friendly and my two small pooches seemed to enjoy it.
