I've been going to Tony for many years for repairs to chains & watch battery replacement. He's a professional and very trust worthy jeweller. Recently I had my special pearl necklace restrung and they look gorgeous. He always has lovely pieces for sale that suit everyone's taste and I've purchased beautiful earrings from him. I wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend Little White Box. Apparently they also have a shop in Belgrave.

My partner surprised me by proposing to me with the most beautiful engagement ring. After researching for months on what he wanted made for me, he decided to see Larsens in the GPO. He found the experience in ring design and selecting the special diamond to be professional and personal. There was no pressure and he learnt so much about the 5 Cs of diamonds. The quality is simply unbeatable and I've had so many compliments on it. We highly recommend Larsens and will be back to arrange our wedding rings.

My family have been having our eyes tested & checked by Heather for 10 years. She's always very thorough and explains what is going on. She doesn't push you into having corrective lenses if your prescription is minor but instead recommends you wait & get retested in 6 months or a year. Reminder notices are sent out which is useful because time gets away. With contact lenses she provides a complimentary trial pair. Heather did a brilliant job teaching my daughter at 12 how to apply and care for contact lenses. I highly recommend Heather as an optometrist. Although her practice is at the back of Kingsway Optical, you can get a prescription and get your glasses or contacts elsewhere.

My family have been getting glasses & contact lenses from here for about 10 years. Nice husband and wife team who are always obliging with great advice on what looks good. There's never any pressure and they can always get a frame in that you've seen elsewhere. I realise there are places around with super deals and have looked into them but we keep going back to Diane & John because the service is the best.

Chinese to die for! Always quality ingredients and no MSG. Usually I'm not a big fan of Chinese food & find it too boring with yucky tough & fatty pieces of chicken or beef.
I love their Carpetbag Chicken the best and haven't seen it available anywhere else. Quite pricey for a suburban restaurant but well worth it.

Whet there to purchase a hybrid ladies bike. With such a huge range we were a little overwhelmed in what to get until the friendly staff explained the different options. Seems to be a family business and the knowledgable young lady assisting us was most helpful. She fitted me out with the correct size and encouraged me to test ride around the store. Once we'd made our selection, the bike was taken to the rear service area for a check over and accessories fitted before we took it. Price was fair & reasonable with 2 free services within the 1st year included.

Wonderful place to take kids or international visitors to see Australian wildlife in a bush setting. I never realised dingoes were so huge. The highlight would have to be the midday bird show. You get to see birds soar high in the sky and zoom in so close you're awe struck. The health centre was fascinating and we saw a little bird having surgery. A great day out, take your own food to save costs, although they do a very nice hot chocolate.

Had never been before so didn't have an appointment. I was advised there'd be a long wait by an unfriendly receptionist. As there were only 3 others in the skinny waiting area I thought it wouldn't be too bad. How wrong I was. For 90 mins I sat there while many came & went. I needed to use their bathroom & was shocked by the fact there is no soap to wash hands! How unhygienic! And in a doctors clinic. Finally got seen to by Dr Hanna who was quite nice. If ever I do return, I'll make an appointment and see what the wait is like then.

Lovely brunch cafe in the middle of Springthorpe Estate. One of the nicest hot chocolates ever had and the pumpkin soup was to die for. Serving was huge with couple of pieces of sour dough toast. Lots of tempting cakes on display and the meals seen taken to other tables looked very nice. Interesting decor with lots of old collections displayed. Service was friendly. Next time we'll try their breaky.

I'm not a big fan of online ordering but JB Hi-Fi Online are great. Their web catalogue is easy to use and find what you're after and many times the prices are better than anywhere else. Great for seeking out classic DVDs or DVDs on school booklists. Then the convenience of home delivery or pick up from the local store to save on postage. Highly recommended.
