We stayed in this lovely hotel during Riverfire and it had the best view of the fireworks from a barge directly in front of us. It was so nice sitting on the balcony watching the crowd build along the river bank, it is so central to the city centre you can walk into the Queen Street Mall or pop down to the Eagle Street Pier markets on the weekend. Fully self contained or you can order in. The office staff are wonderful, there is also a full gym available to you as well as sauna etc. The rooms are modern and set out well to take advantage of your lovely view. While you are there be sure to take in a city cruise on the river cats.

The waiter we had on our last visit was the best we have had while dining out in a long time, he was super friendly and interacts with the kids which was a lovely change. The food was amazing as usual and looking out onto the beautifully lit up Brisbane River at night was not too bad either! The meals are huge and so fresh. It was the night before River Fire and yet the place was packed but still so nice. It had to be the best night out we have had as a family in a while as it was fun and yet peaceful. Staff very accommodating to families with prams etc.

This wonderful restaurant sits right on the water and the half price lunch is great. It is on every day and it is for all meals. Perfect time to enjoy your lobster dish and only pay half the usual price. The drinks can be a little overpriced but that is the case with most restaurants. The seating is well set out and I had no problem getting the pram in and out. The staff are really nice and you won't be sitting waiting for anything as they are always around when you need them.

For all those sweet tooth people out there this is the spot for you! This fudge shop is great, so many choices it is hard to pick. If you totally fall in love don't fret as this can be posted out to you for a small postage fee. A lovely stroll on top of the mountain but wear your woolies in the cooler months as it is freezing. The staff here are very helpful to sway you towards munching your way through all the flavours........thank goodness fudge is good for you!

What a treat, this is so lush! Every part of it is wonderful from the fluffy robes and slippers, then the herbal tea while you wait to go into your treatment room then the steam room you can use afterwards. There are showers downstairs and hair dryers etc for your use if you need it. The showers have the loveliest shower gels available for you in each cubicle so make sure you take all the appropriate things so you can use the steam rooms etc.

This review is for Peppers Salt Resort And Spa, Kingscliff NSW

Finding accommodation for our large family is very hard but Peppers does it. We had interconnecting rooms that allowed us to have a room doors open as there was a large secure door that opened into a hall area which the separate rooms opened up from. The main room was fully self contained which is also a must for a large family. Great views across the ovals to the beach which was lovely to open up the front French doors to get the fresh air. The facilities on site are perfect and you wouldn't need to leave the site if you don't want to. The pool is huge and caters for all ages with a beach entrance on one side and the deeper quieter area on the other side. The breakfast cafe is so good with so many choices and it really wasn't too badly priced. The accommodation was lovely and the staff can not do enough for you.

We called in here when we made a spur of the moment visit to the playground at the Hunter Valley Gardens and grabbed drinks and ice creams. Of course you pay a little more than you would in a normal shop but the word convenience rings true in this case. Only a small shop but they cram a great range into such a small spot.it would be good also if you were staying at the Mecure Hotel on site rather than having to go to far to find a normal shop.

This review is for Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop, Pokolbin NSW

This shop is such a treat. It is a deli on steroids! They have cheese, breads, deli meats, sauces, pickles, olives and any other antipasto delights you may desire. We went in and the smell smacks you in the face and it is so yummy, the choices are endless. If there is anything you are interested in they are more than happy to give you a taste test. The staff are very knowledgeable and if you tell them the name of cheeses you like they will show you what is similar. The salami etc is to die for and all great on a plate with some of there lovely breads. We bought up big and that was dinner! Pop next door and grab a bottle of red and you are set. Can be a little expensive but it is very high quality and you get exactly what you pay for.

I have two magazine subscriptions with this company and had many more over the last few years, the prices are so good and they always arrive on time and without damaged or problems. There is no pressure selling or continual annoyance to sign up for more things and anytime I have had to change contact details etc it has been a simple process taken care of at first contact point. Magshop has a really good mix of magazines allowing the entire family to find something that suits! Also wonderful present ideas especially for this people that have everything.

Ok people.....this has to be my favourite shop! I loooove Christmas and this shop has the most beautiful things that are really high quality and different from all the usual stuff you see in shops, of course I had to buy a few things and had my eye on a lot more things I want. You really need to go in and see it to appreciate it! The staff are lovely and always busy and the prices really are not that bad considering the quality products they are selling. Love it love it love it!
