I took my daughter for her birthday as a little surprise and the lady that did our ride was just so so helpful and so accomodating to my daughter and fussed over her and answered all her millions of questions. The horses are in great condition with the loveliest temperaments which is really handy for a young first time rider. We did the hour ride and it was well worth the money, so quiet and relaxing riding through the countryside and through the cattle yards past the inquisitive kangaroos. Young or old give it a go as they will find a way to fit your capabilities. Apparently there is a school holiday program that you can go out to ride and feed the horses for the day so we will be checking that out over the hols!

A quaint new store that has opened up in the top end of High Street. You walk in and are greeted by the lovely staff and the many beautiful gifts and homewares. This would be a perfect spot to shop if you are redecorating a girls room or really into the crafty recycled look. A lot of their stock is inspired by nature and they have a fair few little Christmas things in already. I bought one of the tiny bird houses and it is just so cute. Not the cheapest shop but has some unique gifts etc that you won't everywhere.

i happen to come across these people while researching a product and they had it advertised on the site for under half the price I had seen it for and the postage is so cheap also. a super range to choose from, there isnt much I dont think they would have. it only took two days for it to arrive in the mail which i was surprised about as it did give a longer lead way. the product was exactly what i was after and the prices were amazing, my product happened to be on the specials page but go on and check it out as even including the postage it was still cheaper than the stores.

I always take my dogs to the vets at the Animal Welfare League as they are so well priced and with some things almost half the price charged at other vets. You can buy medications, food, leads and toys for your furry friend at a really cheap price and all your money is going back into the league. Appointments are necessary unlessmof an emergency of course and they are open 7 days which is also handy. The vets and nurses are so good and really helpful and the poor girls on the front counter are always so so busy but still remain so happy and helpful! My three older kids are all members of the league which gets them a monthly magazine and your membership money helps them buy supplies. If anyone has any blankets or old towels please take them out and hand them in as the animals need them all the time summer or winter.

Great fresh seafood! We have been there many a time and grabbed some fish and chips from the little shop and sat to watch the Pelican feeding while we ate. A tip to remember.....if you go on the weekend make it an early or later lunch as it is just so crazy busy right on lunch time and you will wait for ages. If you are chasing fresh seafood to take home to cook then any time of day is fine, the prawns are to die for and you can order well in advance for Christmas or that special occasion. If you are unsure of how to cook your fish ask the ever friendly staff for a few tips!

What a great day out for the whole family! We have had yearly passes for the last few years and absolutely love it. All ages are catered for as the park is not entirely about rides so it suits all my kids. There is plenty to see and do with shows on around the park all day. The facilities are set out well with food areas spread across the park and it isn't too overly priced although we take some snacks to keep the kids going throughout the day. All the staff are wonderful and cheery and obviously love working there. If an animal encounter is your style be sure to check it out before the day so you can book and see what requirements are to be met. There are quite a few sites selling discounted tickets so do your homework as it can be a bit pricey to get the entire family in on a daily price.

The girls in this salon were really helpful when we popped in to get my husbands hair cut while out shopping and just fit him in. The cut was really good but there was no shampoo prior and the $28 he paid for a men's trim was a little over the top. Great if you are in a hurry and a bit of spare time but could offer a little more in their service. We thought every salon washed hair first so I suppose we should be happy it was a really good cut.

I have been here twice in the last few weeks both times for lunch. I ordered the exact same thing both times and the first time is was superb and the second it was hideously bad. We waited 40 minutes for our entree sized meal and when I asked the staff member if she could check the progress she stomped into the kitchen and came back to tell me not much longer which of course was another ten minutes. The kids play area is great for the little kids so that was a bonus. The restaurant does a good $10 lunch deal but the entree I ordered wasn't off it so I'm hoping they can manage that a bit better. So it's 50/50 at the moment, maybe I need to go back to give it best out of three!

This review is for Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant, Burleigh Heads QLD

You have to know you are looking for this restaurant as it is hidden down the arcade but once you find it....yummo. Definitely start with the cheese dip as it doesn't sound good warm cheese dip but it is lovely. In always have the montezumas delight as it is a vegie heaven. Beans and shredded veggies topped with either chicken or beef smothered in their sauce and cheese. You have so many vegetarian options as well if thats what you would prefer. Staff are always lovely and they do really good kids meals also. Drinks are quite well priced for a restaurant and you have the normal beer, wine but also a few traditional drinks to try. Great atmosphere tucked away at the end of the arcade and we try and grab the outside table so there is a little more room for the kids. If you would prefer takeaway it is around the other side of the building and again you have to be paying attention to find the little door as it is like a back entrance to the kitchen.

This review is for PCYC, Maitland NSW

Both my children and I have recently joined this PCYC and it is wonderful. There are so many activities for the kids to chose from and they are so cheap for the term. You haven to join the club first which was only $5 for under 17 and $10 for the rest of us then you choose what you would like to do. The gym area downstairs is really good and is plot into three separate areas with classes, weights and machines all in separate rooms. The club runs a creche for the little kids while you are in the gym and it is free for those with a gym membership, the room is full of toys, bikes and activities for the kids to do so they are not just plopped in front of a tv. Children's activities are filling up so jump in soon and check them out as there is something for all ages and you can sit and have a cuppa while you wait for them to finish.
