What a lovely old cinema! We went to see Madagascar 3 today with the kids and this cinema is the old one that has had a little face lift. The seats are so big and the timber arm rests with the cup holders in it but the best part is the leg room. There is so much space in front of you so it's great for those with long legs or to put the bulky handbag. There are only four theatre rooms so they don't have every movie running at every time slot but we have been twice and they program the movies at appropriate times. The ticket and snack bar run down one side of the hall with some seating around to sit in big comfy chairs if you are early. Don't forget to join up to their loyalty program as you get free tickets, $5 off vouchers and free things from the candy bar.

I rented a car from this Hertz office while my car was being repaired and it was just so simple and easy. I walked in and the car was ready in the driveway, thengirls had everything sorted in the office so it was only a matter of handing over drivers licence and deposit and off we went. When I went to drop off the car the service was exactly the same and they offered to call me a cab to get me back to the repairers. For those that are interested they give Myer One points and they also have a VIP membership and the man next to me was a member and received a free upgrade on his car. I had rented a Toyota ascent and it was only $49 a day which was quite cheap compared to another company I had contacted.

I went here as a group of five and we were not there very long as the service was quite average and the food not much better. I had fish and it tasted like chlorine and everyone's chips were cold. My husband had a t-bone steak and it was tough and he didnt enjoy it at all. We mentioned the cold chips to the waitress when she asked how our meals were and she "oh right" and walked away so obviously not too interested. The interior is very neat and presentable so we were very disappointed as we had been here a few years ago and it had been lovely. There were children running around everywhere and normally I would have had my own four with me (not running around though) and I did check the menu and the kids meals seemed reasonable but you would have to wonder if they would be any good seeing the main meals we had were crappy.

Once the kids are dropped off at school a few of us mums pop in for a nice breakfast or coffees every few weeks. Even though this cafe is right smack between two main roads it is quite relaxing with the effort they have gone to to set up water features and music playing softly in the background. I usually do coffee and a treat when I meet with the girls and they offer a gluten free option which is a bonus and I have met my hubby there for a mid morning breakfast which is super yummy and not as overpriced as some cafes are. Staff always helpful and will alter meals to suit you if need be. I have taken my two year old with me sometimes and they are very helpful when trying to find a snack he can have.

Our day at the beach with wonderful friends was made even better when we got the cones of chips for the kids from Swell @ Bar Beach Cafe. The large cones are $5.50 and the chips are the best I have ever had, they are hand cut and double cooked so they are crispy yet fluffy inside yummo! I was expecting them to be so revolting being from a cafe at the beach but they were totally the opposite. The cafe is there for normal lunches also and apparently in winter if you call your order through they will run it out to your car if you park in a particular area. When you go to Bar Beach you can spot the building straight away so grab some chips and walk down the steps to enjoy your yummy treat while you watch the waves roll in.

We went here with a group of friends that had come to Australia from Hong Kong and it was a total hit. They all said it was very authentic and we had a wonderful meal there. The service is ok but to be fair it is always super busy and you have to make sure you book well in advance especially on a Friday or Saturday. I do recommend the duck but it is quite expensive but such a treat. I find that because it is so busy it does seem a little loud but again it's good so you tend to tolerate these things a bit more. The food is expensive but you pay it for the quality and the fact that it is fine dining so just enjoy it.

I had to have a lump removed from my cheek and was booked in to see Dr Moko in only a few weeks. I found her to be completely professional and the organisation of both her and her staff was wonderful and I was booked into hospital and sorted by the end of the next week. Surgery was a success and the follow up appointments were booked and ready on the same day. Dr Moko can also do smaller things in her rooms at Robina if there is no need for a hospital visit. All the nurses in her rooms were informative and able to carry out the consults very well.

This quaint little restaurant/coffee lounge has a really good feel about it tucked away in the alley. We went there for a girls day out and the food was so good. I had the mixed tapas plate and there was no way I could finish it it was so big with a really good mix of different things and breads. One of the group has to have gluten free and they were so accomodating in slightly changing the dish so it was ok for her to eat. The coffee was great and such large cups even for the small ones. Seeing it was cold we sat in the alley way and they have heaters facing down onto the seating area so we were nice and toasty making it a perfect long lunch! A great selection of desserts but there was no way we could possibly fit that in after such large meals.

Best Restaurant for a party especially a work event! You are entertained all night with the skill of the chefs so great if people really don't know each other too well there are no awkward silences. The meal packages are really well priced and can accommodate most budgets. Each package has about 5 courses so you are there for a while taking in the show and general atmosphere. There are seafood, meat and also vegetarian meals and you can ask for your meat to be cooked as you like it without a problem. This is a real fun night out and off to e side is a sushi bar and I have yet to try this but have heard a lot of rave reviews so keep it in mind.

If you are looking for a fun night out go and have a meal here. The food is amazing and just keeps on coming out so don't eat anything before you come. You can choose from a few meal plans which offer different combinations and price brackets to suit almost everyone. Keep in mind you get entertained with your meal and this is an art the way they throw food around and never miss the spot. The staff are on it and there to refill drinks and get you anything else you may want as well as clear away the plates etc to get you easy for the next exciting course. Another lovely touch at the end of the night is the message written in salt by the chef who manages to do this upside down........just great!
