This review is for Brodburger, Kingston ACT

Brodburdger in Kingston is a Canberra classic and one of my favourite places to bring out-of-towners when boasting of what Canberra has to offer. While the wait times may sometimes be close to half an hour, the first bite (and every bite that follows) is definitely worth the wait.

The food is well priced, offering mouthwatering and filling burgers for approximately $15. The staff are friendly and always helpful to give suggestions and advice on great combinations.

Hands down, Brodburger is a must experience for all

This review is for Ginseng, Griffith ACT

Ginseng is, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants for Asian Cuisine in Canberra. While the space provided for the restaurant is intimate, this does not detract from the staff at Ginseng offering a fantastic dining experience.

The restaurant boasts both modern and traditional flavours, providing for a variety of tastes, while still maintaining strong flavours of the East.

A great place to dine

This review is for ANU Health Service, Canberra ACT

While it is fantastic to have a medical service on campus, and in addition to that one that bulk bills, the convenience of both of these options are heavily outweighed by the impossibility of getting an appointment without a weeks notice. They do however offer an alternative option - if you want to be seen the same day, you can call at 9am sharp to see whether there has been any cancellations.

While it is often virtually impossible to get an appointment, the doctors at the medical clinic are friendly and helpful.

Good cheap option if you have the time to wait.

This review is for Burmese Curry Place, Canberra ACT

The Burmese Curry House in civic offers fantastic value for money. The food is moreish, and more than surpasses expectations.

There is not much by way of service, but this does not detract from the fantastic food provided. Same must be said for the setting, but once again this does not detract from the quality of the food provided.

I would definitely recommend the Burmese Curry House in Civic as a great lunch spot and the rush received during lunch hours can only attest to that.

This review is for Degree Cafe, Acton ACT

The quality of the food at Degree Cafe on the ANU Campus is good at best. Their sandwiches are great when you need a quick bite but other than that their menu options do not excite.

Their coffee is not fantastic and better alternatives can be sought out on the ANU Campus. The value for money is better than expected however.

Service is friendly but brief.

Overall, a good but not great experience.

This review is for Asian Noodle House, Canberra ACT

The food at Asian Noodle House in Civic is great value for money. The meals are generous, and they have a great range of menu options from noodle dishes, to curries and a great list of entrees. Recommendations go to their spring rolls which have been some of the best I have ever tried.

The service is efficient and brief but that does not detract from the ambiance, perhaps adding to it more than anything else.

Once more, the value for money can receive nothing less than 5 stars.

Overall an enjoyable dining experience! One of Canberra's best cheap eats

This review is for Saffron Restaurant, Griffith ACT

verified email - 21 May 2012

The quality of food provided at Saffron is unparalleled. From the array of beautifully cooked fish to their perfectly seasoned lamb, the food at Saffron promises not to disappoint. The experience provided at Saffron is unlike any other in Canberra and for that it must be visited. All meals should be started with their array of dips and breads, which provide the perfect start to an amazing meal.

The service staff are friendly and chatty and have a great knowledge of the menu.

Meals range near the $30 mark, but can undeniably be said to be money well spent.

Saffron must be experienced to be believed

This review is for Dickson Asian Noodle House, Dickson ACT

Dining at the Asian Noodle House is an experience for the senses. The Laska is renowned and never fails to disappoint. Other options on the menu fall just short of this standard but who can complain when the food is this outstanding. Interactions with the staff are short but sweet but the value for the meals at Asian Noodle House in Dickson is outstanding.
