This review is for Tossolini's, Canberra ACT

verified email - 24 May 2012

Tossolini's is a good place to head to if you want to grab a quite bite and you're craving some Italian food. Other than that though, I would not recommend it.

The food is nothing to write home about and the service, value and general ambiance of the restaurant is much the same. The dish I ordered was under-seasoned and relatively flavourless.

This review is for Belluci's Trattoria, Griffith ACT

Belluci's provides a vibrant yet intimate setting for a fantastic dining experience. The service is great, although I will admit that when we went our waiter was a bit on the chatty side (helpful, but chatty!) The food is mouthwatering and as a risotto connoisseur, I think it's some of the best that I've had in Canberra. Would definitely recommend Belluci's for a fantastic night out!

This review is for Jimmy's Place, Dickson ACT

Jimmy's is a great place to head to when you want some great Chinese food at a great price.

Jimmy's does Yum Cha on Saturday and Sunday mornings - some of the best that Canberra has to offer. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is exceptional. Try anything with lobster and crab on the Yum Cha menu, it promises not to disappoint.

This review is for Pajenka's, Canberra ACT

The food at Pajenkas is as expected. It is not the best, but it definitely is not the worst. The food is fairly average, as is the setting it is found in. The coffee is better than alternatives on campus however

This review is for Iori Japanese Restaurant, Canberra ACT

verified email - 21 May 2012

The Japanese food at Iori is undoubtedly the best on offer in Canberra. With a wide range of selections ranging from sashimi to a more basic tonkatsu, Iori offers a great selection for the more and less adventurous diner.

Pricing at Iori is quite steep however, and often I have ended up feeling unsatisfied and hungry after spending $50.

That being said, Iori is a great treat for those who want to splurge a little to get some fantastic food. The service is great and all the staff are friendly and know their menus well. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

This review is for Mooseheads, Canberra ACT

verified email - 21 May 2012

Mooseheads is a good place to go to when you want cheap food and drinks. That being said, the floor tends to get a bit sticky and the crowd tends to be a bit rowdy the later it gets so I probably would not recommend the services past 8pm

This review is for Purple Pickle Cafe, Acton ACT

Purple Pickle can sometimes be on the more expensive side, but if you are on that side of campus it is a great place to grab a coffee and a quick bite.

This review is for ANU Bar, Canberra ACT

verified email - 21 May 2012

ANU Bar is a great place to stop in and have a drink with friends at the end of a long day at uni. The Bar has pool tables, an outdoor area and often features local and upcoming musicians. A great place to chill out and have a good time with friends

This review is for Sammy's Kitchen, Canberra ACT

verified email - 21 May 2012

Sammy's Kitchen is a great place to go to when you want to grab a quick bite with some friends over some great food. The value of the food provided is fantastic, the atmosphere always busy and bustling and the staff are friendly and always happen to answer any questions.

Would definitely recommend their hot rock salted prawns!

This review is for Koko Black, Canberra ACT

verified email - 21 May 2012

The chocolate at Koko Black is fantastic and the atmosphere is much the same. Filled with chocolate leather couches, and a view of master chocolatiers at their work, Koko Black offers a great experience for anyone with a solid sweet tooth.

While some of their drinks sit heavily on the decadent side, they offer simply sweet options as an alternative.

Great value and a great place to visit!
