come into this nice local cafe & restaurant with a Nepalese twist - sit by the table with a brilliant view of kathmandu on a flatscreen TV panel & one almost thinks they're there! ;)
I tried the weekend special yesterday of a dhal curry + 3 naans + a brightly coloured sweet for $10.50.

highly recommend!

beautiful, quaint little neighbourhod gem of a cafe ~! pop in & enjoy a lucious haloumi cheese pastry coupled with a dark hot chocolate & you're in for a great value treat~! [only $8!]
love the friendly staff too, who evidently try to please!

I look forward to many more viits in future to sample their large range of other cake goodies~!

came here for lunch on a Saturday wih a dear friend, business was buzzing!!
I had wagyu beef burger $19- YUMMO!
She had arancini balls with salad $17 & LOVED the lime /oil dressing!! I finished off with a pot of REAL Chai tea $6
+ she had a flat white $4. great spot for yummo food, interesting menu, friendly service!

a bunch of ~30 of us spontaneously rocked up here without making a prior booking & they did a fantatic job at accommodating us all quite quickly! food was out pretty fast too, not the best value though, but would recommend here if you're planning a big function! :)

came here as part of a Sydney Christian singles 18-35 meetup group & was pleasantly surprised by the deal they nrgotiated with the chef -- all you can eat salads, prawns & pizza for $15 pp!! with ~ 16 of us the staff were kept very busy along with other customers, and made sure everyone had enough to eat :D great venue for small-medium social gatherings!

we werewalking down Church St ~ 5.30ish on a Friday night looking for a place to eat, this place looked new, since we were both big fans of Indian & Ria was so friendly, we decided to try Saffron Grillz out!

being fairly new to the area (~2 months), while the service was great, the flavours were not the greatest for Indian we've tasted, I'd recommend the platter for 2 (veg or non-veg options, we had the non-veg) but it is a little exxy at $25.95 for 4 skewers, along with that we had aloo tkiki chat $8, coke zero $4 [!!!!], Kingfisher beer $8, goat malai kalimirch $24.95 .. a HUGE Saffron peas pulao $4.95 which really didn't have much flavour.. :P, peanut masala $4.95, garlic naan $3.95, pappadums with mint chutney $4.95 + extra mint chutney (we weren't told how muh extra they'd charge but it was an extra $3.95 TOTAL 94.6!! but Ria kindly gave us 10% off XD so
total was $84.6 which was still quite Exxy :O
but still worth a try! love the decor & ambient music, you feel like you're in India~!;)

I discovered this shop that was under new management shortly after Fred took over .. top friendly guy who cooks a mean grilled fish fillet -- only $5 for a big slab of fish!!
definitely worth dropping in if you're in the area!!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now, simply because i love the name!!

finally i tried it, and had the chicken with mushroom + beef balls on noodles that tasted like packet mi goreng + gado gado salad ccoconut ice drink with no ice [quite sweet!]
adequately satisfied, nice service, not the nicest setting in abusy shopping centre parking lot .. perhaps better to eat inside than outside! .. i couldn't order many of the menu items due to 5-chilli spice rating!! .. this could be a spice lovers paradise! ;P

a good friend was in the area when I was, so we tried here for lunch, and were surprised! going injust after noon there was decent patronage, and it just kept filling as time went on ..

I had the beef stir fry in oyster sauce (8.50 lunch special X-D)
.. Pretty good portion, although they could've been more generous with veges ..
my friend ordered a thai beef salad [$12.5] but with way too many little potent chillis, which i ate :P … so perhaps be warned if chillis aren't your favourite accompaniment to go with a salad!
