came here for a celebratory dinner with my girlfriend :D
having been here once before, was satisfied with the friendly, attentive service, and the decor. -- I knew it'd be worth returning to :)

I had the beef & avocado salad [$11] - yummy, but i was definitely not impressed with the small serving of beef, but then again, I guess it was one of the cheaper items on the menu .. she had a dumpling soup which she very much enjoyed [$13] - $24 for a satisfying celebratory dinner isn;t too bad, I guess =) there's definitely some other interesting offerings on their menu I'd like to try on return - mimumum $20 for EFTPOS payment, which is easy given their prices aren't exactly bargain basement ;)
the only thing keeping me from rating it higher is if they'd served more beef in my BEEF salad ;)

while it looked like the cheapest eatery in Regent's place for lunch, and even though i wasn't keen on ramen, the menu advertised 'egg noodles' & of course, for $8.90, it looked & tasted like cheap, ordinary 2-minute noodles... the miso soup base must've been loaded with MSG because i was quite thirsty afterwards! I left quite disappointed .. >.<

caught up with a good brother here ~ 12:30 on a Wednesday, the place was relatively busy, but the service was friendly & quick, and we enjoyed a hearty, good value lunch special!
I had glass noodles with beef ($9), my friend had the dumplings with chicken soup ($9) & we both had ginseng tea for the cold winters' day which went down well ($3 each for a rather small cup!) .. he found the soup yummy & healthy - my glass noodles with beef was very yummy, but the pool of oil left at the bottom of the plate didn't leave me feeling too great! :P
$24 for lunch for two ... not too bad for Parramatta! [?]

caught up with a friend & he recommended Indian taste -- being Indian himself, I knew this plce had to be good!! It was quiet, with kind, friendly service, good portions & value for money.
my girlfriend ordered the Daal Tadkha with rice ($11.90 + $2, my friend & I hared a shared hydrabadi goat curry ($15.90 + $2, he had rice with garlic naan, I had a tandoori roti ($2.20) XD ...I'm not sure how but the sums from the menu prices added up to $34 but somehow my card was charged $36.50 . . . not sure what happened there?!
the complementary popadums were a nice touch too ;)

hi quality, locally sourced, healthy, organic food. Parramatta's hidden gem!
meals are pricey though, and i thought as expensive as the ingredients may have been, you really don't get much for your money, although it mightn't have looked much on the plate, I left satisfied!
i had the free range duck breast fillet - $35.9 with seared brussels sprouts $8.90
... apparenty their menu changes daily, and they have special celebration days .. looking forward to returing & sampling more of their menu~!

caught up with a really good friend here early on a Sunday morning (~7:30ish) & enjoyed the friendly service who put up with our many questions & having to go to & fro the kitchen alot! we sat at the outdoor tables (though by that time, the sun hadn't quite warmed up nor risen to shine on much of the outdoor tables)
it was tough to decide what to have as their menu looked great! I settled on the bombay cauliflower hash brown on spelt rye - $18 + an extra poached egg - $4
with a pot of bonsoy brewed chai -$9
VERY hearty breakfast, and look forward to returning to try more of their delights! :D

a good brother found this place as rated #1 on tripadvisor so we had to check it out!! we came in ~ 5pm, I really liked the decor inside.
we found the staff very friendly & helpful in asisting us to choose good dishes. the food didn't disappoint! we had 2 entrees of chicken & fish, with a goat & chcken curry with rice & Kashmiri naans ... a few hours + $88 later, we left with two very full & happy stomachs! thought it strange that even though it's rated #1 on tripadvisor, there were only a few other diners throughout our time there ...

got here ~7:30pm on a Saturday night and it was PACKED!!! yet, the staff still attended to our group very well, I ordered the Grilled Lamb Salad - W. roasted pumpkin, beetroot, cous cous, baby spinach, walnuts w. mint + coriander dressing) .. soundedfancy enough for me to give it a try for $25! i suppose they charge for the view, though it may be nice, unless you're right by the balcony, you'll mostly be looking at the silhouettes of people's heads. . . while there was LOTS of baby spinach, it only had a few chunks of lamb which made it very poor value. not the kind of place I'd go out of my way to eat at ..

my sister recommended this place, their menu looked interesting, I tried the Spanish slow cooked pulled beef steak - $15.5 ... nice but the beef chunks were on the fatty side & meat was small serving for the price ... also had the chickpea battered sweet potato chips for $9 ... i was too busy working through the mains that by the time i got onto the chickpea battered sweet potato chips, they'd gone cold & soggy .. :S they probably tasted heaps better when they just came out, or so my friend tells me ;) will be back to try their other offerings! nice outdoor seating arrangement too ;)

wow I've never been back to the same place so many times in such a short timespan just to try their menu! this time I was in for Sunday lunch ~noontime & had their Panko crumbed chicken sub lunch special with kimchi [wherever it was? there wasn;t much of it, if at all! With seaweed fries - (which were very pithy fries with "seaweed dust"?!) … chicken sub was vry yummy but fries were disappointingly small & bland .. all for $15, not too bad ;)
