Betty is one of the most helpful people I've ever come across when buying a computer. I go to her for all my personal computer & peripheral purchases and so does the rest of my family. Prices and service are great. Look out for their weekly add in The Age's Green Guide or download it from their website.

It's worth noting that I've only dealt with them through work (ie. mostly larger purchases).

I've found Ian and Paul both very pleasurable to deal with. They offer great prices and minimal fuss... We've stuck with them for 5 years or more now because we've been completely satisfied with the service and after-sales support.

The main way to earn points is to shop on-line through their partners but I rarely do this. If you log on to their website daily you can get points for clicking on links and answering survey questions. They have a guessing game where you choose numbers and if you guess the daily number you can win points. If you agree to receive survey invitations, they also offer points for filling them out providing you meet their demographic requirements.

I've earned a few points for on-line shopping but mainly through the other methods, I've managed to earn about $90 over the last two years. They can take a little while to process cheques but I've never had any trouble receiving them. If you can be bothered, I recommend it for a little bit of extra cash here and there.

I'm vegetarian so I've only ever tried the pide's, breads & dips and the only other option for me is the felafel's I think (but I haven't tried it yet). However, I can highly recommend the pide's... They're huge and only cost $5. Not sure about the meat options but for vego's they have cheese & spinach or vegetable options. The vegetable one is filled with assorted vegies and cheese - YUM!

Very friendly osteo clinic in Bundoora which also has a Chinese medicine practitioner. I've suffered from constant back problems over the last 7 years or so and could never find any reprieve until I found this place. Osteo can also be good for all kinds of other problems (even some you'd be surprised about).

I've been treated by both Nahla Karim (the owner) and one of her associates, Laura Biddenback and I can recommend them both very highly. They're not only brilliant at what they do but also very good at making clients feel totally comfortable (which can be quite important with these kind of treatments!)

Awesome Lebanese breads, meat or vegetarian pizza's, cheese or cheese & spinach pies, spinach triangles etc. Really really cheap! You can buy them cooked or uncooked, to eat in or take away. The atmosphere isn't fantastic but it's the perfect Sydney Road experience! They serve coffee too but I haven't tried it.

I'm addicted to Henry's White Beans!!!

These are the specialty of A Minor Place... Not sure what kind of beans they are but they are in some kind of a garlic & rosemary sauce which is just DIVINE! They can be ordered either a) with rocket & dukkha on toast, b) as part of the Brazilian Breakfast (on toast with poached eggs, avocado, roast tomato & spinach), c) as part of A Minor Breakfast (on toast with poached eggs, grilled ham, roast tomato & spinach) or d) on the side with any other dish (if you're not keen on any of the other options I recommend getting them on the side at least once). I'm vego so the Brazilian Breakfast is my favorite!

I've only ever ordered the Brazilian Breakfast & Henry's White Beans but I've always been there with friends and all reports say that every dish is excellent (as is the coffee)!

I've been there almost every weekend over the last few months for either breakfast or lunch and sometimes I pop in during the week too if I get a chance - that's how good it is!

The staff are quite friendly which is good considering how busy they get. The place is small and cosy, in what seems to be an old house or a couple of old terraces with a wall knocked out in between. They have tables around the walls at the front and side too.

As a courtesy they provide free wireless Internet but ask that you don't download big files or look at anything illegal (or potentially offensive to other customers) - fair enough really.

Cosy little bar at the south end of Brunswick Street. Has a very cool little sheltered outdoor area with a few tables and more are set up away from the sheltered bit if the weather is good. On a sunny but chilly day it's even nice inside, basking in the sun from the huge windows. Lots of comfy old couches make it feel like you're in your loungeroom.

They play lots of good music all the time but they often have some good DJ's, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Consistently good food but just nothing overly exciting. The prices aren't really cheap but not expensive either. Nice outdoor eating area on Brunswick Street so it's real good for people watching. The staff are nice.

My last visit was Wednesday night and it was surprisingly busy but they've just opened a new bar and outdoor area so they sent us out there to have a drink while we waited for a table (better than standing around or going somewhere else!). We got one within 10 minutes or so anyway...

I've tried just about everything on the menu over the last few years and I've only ever had one average meal (to put it in perspective that's probably 1 in 200 or more and it wasn't terrible, just average).

Most of the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. On Wednesday they seemed to have a lot of new waiting staff who were all lovely.

My favorite vego restaraunt in town!
