Stumbled on this one with some work colleagues. This is the best dumpling experience I have had since my trip to China. The Xiao Long Baos are amazing, a definate highlight and a must-order. You sometimes have to wait for a table, and the service to some may seem a little rushed, unfriendly but is just what it is - anyone who has been to China will find it familiar that the service is this way! Great for a group dinner!!!!!

I spent many months looking for my new bed, I started at Chiropedic Mattress Co in Essendon (right next to the DFO) and after exhausting the list of bedding mattress companies in and around my area (many many many big name brands) I finally returned there and bought my lovely new bed. The staff were helpful, they did a lot of the final sale over the phone for me cos I couldn't get into the store, and the delivery was seamless. I love my new bed, and am sleeping better than I have for years - not to mention saving a small fortune by buying direct rather than through a big name store..... Highly recommended

I cannot speak highly enough of the lovely ladies at TS14+ in Ivanhoe.
I was taken into the store by a friend and after seeing the gorgeous clothes (I am an extra small for the first time in years!) I arrange a one-on-one styling session with the gorgeous Maria. Maria spent several hours with me, got me to try on things I normally wouldn't look at and has an amazing eye for what suits each person. I walked away with great new looks and have since been back no less than four times. The ladies in the store greet me like a long-lost friend every time I walk in the door and I am proud of my beautiful new wardrobe that I am slowly building with their assistance.

What's good about the Retreat is that it isn't trying to be something that it's not. It embraces it's slightly grungy edge and is just a great place to kick back.
The beer garden is great, usually busy in summer and the cushions/blankets on the astro turf is great.
Live music both inside and out - I love this place

Stumbled on this one by accident and had to do a lot of searching online to find the name of it afterwards as the street signage is minimal - look for the illy coffee sign and the line going out the door (on weekends) for a table.... weekday lunch, perfect and I would say well worth the wait for a table on weekends. The pies etc, wow and the coffee was standout compared to others I have had in the area....

The Tin Pot has become somewhat of a tradition for my friend and I - we are both completely addicted to their BLT - the most amazing homemade sauce on it, it is to die for........

one of my fav summer memories from last year, sitting in a deck chair at the rooftop cinema, light breeze in the air and watching a great movie.
The bbq food is great too!!!!! A definate summer activity!!! I can't wait for the new season
