Prices here are fantastic and the service is great. Hairdressers are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Kelly is my favourite hairdresser here.

Amongst the chaos that is Westfield Strathpine, Target is a nice relief. The store is impeccably clean and organised with everything nicely set out (not packed in and cramped, no clothes all over the place). The staff are friendly and helpful. Shopping in here is calm and quite pleasant.

A little overpriced but great food. Great atmosphere and beautiful interior design. The chicken parmigiana is the best! Great service and friendly staff.

Fitness classes here are relaxed and fantastic. The class sizes are kept small so you do get personal attention from the instructor. They also tailor exercises to you, for example my mother has limited movement in her ankle due to an accident so the instructor provided alternatives for her for certain exercises. Prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are lovely. The online booking system is fantastic!

The ultimate place to get all of your skating needs, the staff are super friendly and helpful! The online store is really good as well. Prices are really reasonable.

Thai Kasinee hands down has the best curry puffs in Brisbane and I am addicted to them! Great atmosphere and fantastic food.

Tucked away in Bowen Hills, La Zucca has a fantastic atmosphere and great woodfired pizza. Very trendy but comfortable interior and fantastic friendly staff. Great for a date!

A must at Des Alpes is the delicious three-course fondue party! Starting with cheese fondue for entree, then meat as main, and finishing off with chocolate this meal is one that will have you wishing that you'd worn looser pants. Really good for a family celebration or a date as sharing the fondue creates quite a social relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately the service isn't great, I have found that it is better not to go on a Friday or Saturday night as it can be a bit slow. Heads up - fondue party needs to be booked 24 hours before attendance when you make your reservation.
