I received a Scoopon deal for my birthday for a haircut, full head of foils, treatment and blow dry.
The hairdresser who cut and coloured my hair was lovely, and for the first time ever, a hairdresser said to me that she wanted me to leave looking good (as well as happy, of course).
She was very patient with helping me select a colour for my hair (as I had never had my hair coloured at a salon before) and made sure the colour that I chose would suit me.
I have no idea what shampoo they use there, but it smells really good!

To make the deal even sweeter, I was given three $20 vouchers to go towards my next visits. I wasn't expecting that!

I walked away looking good and feeling good!

Thanks, girls!

The food here is always delicious, always fresh, and set at a fairly reasonable price.

The staff are lovely, very nice, and also know how to make a delicious cup of coffee.

I have eaten here many times, and I always enjoy the entire experience. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a delicious smell of pizza, herbs and coffee... which makes you more hungry than you realise you are!

Ever since this store had a massive upgrade, it has been a breeze to do my shopping, and then pay for it via the self-serve checkouts.

The staff are friendly, approachable and only too happy to assist with anything.

The weekly specials are always a great bargain, and I often find myself buying things I don't really need just because they are on special!

Not going into detail with the actual phone company itself.
But, I recently went into the store that used to be 3, which is now just Vodafone.

I wanted to get a new sim card as I am with 3, so that I could transfer to Voda.
The guy put in a new sim, but my phone wouldn't accept it as apparently an incorrect pin code had been entered too many times. Which is ok, as I had let people use this phone when I had my other phone.

Anyway, the guy could not unlock it, so told me to go to the Vodafone 'place' on Greenhill Road.
He did not give me a street number, telephone number, no other details, aside from "it's about ten minutes from here"
Well, I don't drive, so "here" could have been in the middle of nowhere for all I knew.
I have never been given such terrible directions! Good thing I just ended up storming out, otherwise I would have gotten lost trying to find this place!

This is my local supermarket, and I often do my grocery shopping here.
But I avoid buying any products from the deli... Here's why:

9 times out of ten, the deli ladies are wearing gloves... But they NEVER seem to change them!!! I was waiting to buy some ham, and at the time, there was only one deli lady working. She was wearing the correct gloves, picked up raw chicken with her hands, not tongs, and after wrapping up the chicken, came to serve me, still wearing the gloves she had just contaminated with the raw chicken!

I don't think this lady understands what cross-contamination is, and how seriously it can make people ill!

Another time, I purchased a handful of groceries, including a tomato (which was about $3.99kg)
I didn't realise until after I'd gotten home that I was charged SIX DOLLARS for ONE tomato!!!! It was about the same size as a tennis ball..

Needless to say, I only go here now if I can't be bothered walking to the local Woolies.

This little yiros and chip joint have the most delicious invention in Adelaide... The AB. I don't really know what it means, but all I can tell you is that it is DELICIOUS!
You get a little plate of chips... yiros meat... garlic sauce... and then a little chilli and tomato sauce. Your mouth waters from the smell and the thought of this delicious creation...

The staff are mostly friendly, once or twice there was a slightly grumpy staff member, but still happy with the service in the end. The prices are just a tiny bit higher than what I would usually pay, but I must admit that it is totally worth it... A great place to go after a night of drinking before heading home!

This is my favourite place to go randomly with my friends, and it doesn't matter what time of the day or night it is, it's always open.

Their chocolate donuts are THE best, better than Krispy Kreme, and you get what you pay for. They make EVERYTHING from scratch, and because it is a 24/7 bakery, the food is ALWAYS fresh, and most importantly delicious!

The staff are always friendly, and very prompt with their service, and are always smiling. Love this place!

I had wanted to buy a giant inflatable thong from Big W, as I was not keen on paying $50 for a Havaiana one from a surf shop.
There were none left at the spot where they were on display, so I'd asked a worker if there were more. She had said that there were none out the back, and instead of sending me away empty-handed, she organised someone to sell me a display!

My friends and I go here every morning for coffee. The staff are always friendly and warm, the service is fast, the coffee is simply amazing, and the prices are decent.

Occasionally we get breakfast. The food is prepared daily, and is always delicious. The only small issue is that it is slightly more than I would like to pay, but totally worth it!

I am a slightly fussy eater when it comes to HJ's. I had ordered my burger minus onion, heavy pickle.
My order came through heavy onion, minus pickle. So I took it to the front counter and the girl behind the counter was very polite, and did not make a single fuss about the incorrect order, which was one of her team member's mistake in the first place.
Anyway, I had only ordered a burger, no meal. She brought not only my burger back to the table where I was sitting, but also a serving of medium fries for the inconvenience.
Now THAT is giving the customer the pickle!

How often does a fast food chain mess up your order and you have to wait an extra 5 mins or more for them to fix their mistake, and all they do is sullenly hand you back your order, maybe with an unenthusiastic apology?
