Been going here on a number of occasions for laser hair removal. Very professional. I had great results (wish I'd done it sooner). Professionally trained staff. Good at minimising any pain and had no negative effects on my skin at all - in fact became baby smooth. Going to get my legs done next! I've also had an all over spray tan here and was very happy with the natural result.

I met the Dame team whilst learning to dance 4 years ago. Each of them have worked at Cuban Dance Academy (which has sadly now been lost to Melbourne). Great dance school to learn cuban style salsa and reggaeton. Very welcoming to beginners and great teachers that can break all the moves down and make learning a FUN experience. These guys can also be seen busting their moves at various events e.g. the Johnston Street Fiesta. I also recommended them to a friend who had two of the teachers come to take a beginners class at her 50th birthday - she had a blast!!! Prices are standard market rates and very competitive.

If you like seafood - especially fish this is the place for you. You might like to start with some seafood bites to share with friends including sea urchin or maybe a plate of oysters. There were three varieties of oyster available on the night I went with friends. You can also order from the bar menu. Whilst there are other options - the focus for the main meal is whole fish caught that morning cooked either on the woodfired bbq or la plancha with a choice of several different seasonings/sauces from simple to more exotic flavours such as tahini or harissa. A reasonable but not overly exciting dessert selection - although a bit too much chocolate for my liking. T2 teas are not my favourite brand I must admit - but if you're in to them then you will enjoy the selection. Decent winelist including local and imports from france, spain and italy.

Trustworthy mechanics - know their stuff when it comes to VWs and their little quirks! Really looked after me when it comes to some expensive replacement parts that were required - happy to look at re-conditioned options/second hand etc.

I was attracted to Daisy Dry Cleaning as it is environmentally friendly. I also regularly get my doona's drycleaned and much prefer using a system that doesn't make me feel I have to air it for a week to get rid of the chemical smell before I can use it again. It is a bit expensive. They are now in Doncaster so my family have been able to use them there too - sometimes they do some great deals - so keep an eye out for those. Service is very good with a text being sent when your clothes/items are ready to pick up.

I met Cynthia when I joined a choir she had just created. I was so inspired by the friendly nature of the choir that I decided to take singing lessons. Cynthia has had loads of experience, is clearly very knowledgable and gives good constructive criticism in a completely non-threatening way. It has been so much fun learning something new with her!

I was recommended to use Kylie from Black Current by Beacon Lighting of all places. She is a brilliant electrician - she did some great work at my flat including installing downlights, powerpoints, aerial points, telephone points and ceiling fans. Took in to consideration the aesthetic impact of any cabling as well (was tricky in an old 1950s flat). Has since done work for my parents and my brother. Very friendly, professional and good value. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Hard to find decent food with good service on St Kilda Road. The staff are really friendly. Really good range of lunch time options including very fresh and varied ingredients for make your own sandwich/wrap/focaccia, ready made sandwiches, quiches, arancini, hot meals. Coffee is decent. I have enjoyed all my meals here. One friend did order something hot and it was over-salted - so keep an eye on that.

This practice is a made up of highly knowledgable and caring doctors. I've been going to my doctor there for several years now, but have also seen a couple of the others and have always felt taken care of. Great family practice - I've seen lots of kids and pregnant mums in the waiting room. There is also a doctor there that specialised in mens health.

I feel confident when I go to see Marcel that he really knows his stuff. He's worked on me for neck and shoulder problems as well as my feet (due to lots of dancing in heels). Have been going to Head to Toe for about 3 years now. Great customer service too and everyone is very friendly.
