This is one of my favourite cafes in Sydney. On the downside, the service staff can be a little rude at times and the beverage list is rather overpriced. Still, I would pay the extra and deal with the bad service for the great range of chocolate products.

Lindt cafe at darling harbour is a great cafe for the chocolate addict. It is always busy, however the queuing and service system was not designed with this taken into account. The tables and chairs are uncomfortable and while the food is great, I always pass up this option for a more comfortable cafe with better service. The Lindt located at Martin Place is many times better!

Jamaica Blue is another typical chain cafe. The staff are very friendly and the food options are sufficient, however the coffee is not always up to the standard of some independent, smaller cafes. I still visit when I feel like a coffee with my lunch, or when meeting up with a friend for morning tea.

Vina is not a place to enjoy a mid morning coffee, however the excellent range of baked products makes up for this. You will always find a cost effective snack and very high quality bread product.

The coffee club was very popular once upon a time when there were very few quality cafes in the area. These days, while it is still a popular lunch venue due to their varied menu and healthy options, when in Chatswood I would probably opt for a another cafe with cheaper yet similar quality coffee and foot items

Ogalo is a fantastic, fast and can be a healthy take away option for busy days. It is also a great inexpensive lunch venue. the food is fresh and provided promptly by great service staff. I always return for the half chicken.

Takeru has always been a nice, informal and family oriented place to dine. The service is fast and friendly, and the menu choice is fresh and healthy. I always return to Takeru when I'm unsure what I feel like, however plan on a fast and healthy meal.

This cafe provides a warm and inviting environment for a relaxed lunch or an informal dinner. The menu and dessert list is very respectable, the service is fantastic and you can be sure to leave feeling satisfied and comfortable with the dining experience.

This is one of my favouite burger bars in Sydney. The idea of eating a burger that is fresh and filled with quality ingredients is always reassuring to the health conscious. Grill'd caters for all types of diner, the staff provide excellent service and the ability to completely customise your own burger is fantastic!

This is one restaurant I am always surprised to see full. It is a big hit in Chatswood, although I have been to sushi train restaurants in the close vicinity that are far better in selection, price and service. Nevertheless, it is a nice place to eat. Nothing special, but nice.
