Hisense tv repair

Echoing some of the reviews I have now read, I am also disappointed I didn't look into this company further before trusting them to repair my 65 inch Hisense tv.
On arrival to drop off the TV unit (Friday morning) the gentleman who served me was very apathetic, he had no interest in what I was there for and did not even bother to engage in friendly conversation. They took my payment to test the unit and said they would be in contact. The following Tuesday they have advised that Hisense no longer stock the part they need and this could not be repaired. I phoned the company to say I would come down and organise collection (side note: I had looked into another company who does TV backlight repairs & were willing to check my unit out). On Thursday midday when I have gone to collect, again the gentleman at the counter did not care who I was or what I was after. When he came back to speak to me after looking for my TV he had advised that the technician had pulled apart and stripped the TV unit (I can only imagine so they could use parts in the unit that they want) - there was absolutely no apology, no further comment or even an offer to reimburse. When I had stated that this was not what I wanted and I had let the reception number know I was coming to collect my TV all he had to say was "you can come back next week and collect. We will put it all back together for you i suppose."
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR ELECTIRCAL NEEDS.

Poor customer service. no empathy as a business.

Really disappointed with ABC Electrical. They insisted on full payment of a call out fee (roughly $170) for a technician to arrive at my home and turn on the powerpoint switch of my oven (which had accidentally been turned off). Technician at my home for no longer than 5 mins.

The technician made no attempt to phone me prior to arriving to potentially work out the issue. Technician arrived, checked for the powerpoint immediately and said "this happens all the time". It is not impossible that ABC Electrical potentially knew the issue was a quick fix, and guaranteed their $170 call out fee.

I tried asking ABC Electrical for a reduction of the fee as I was happy to pay something (the technican had still come out to my home), but they were strict on the price and would not reduce it.

This has all taken place in December 2023 close to Christmas time. Absolutely no kindness or empathy afforded. Really disappointed with their service and will not be returning or recommending to others.

Don’t go near these people. They would go out of business if people read their reviews. I did not (my fault) so was ripped off. It would be helpful if there were a suggestion in large print preceding all Google requests for companies that provide services, to READ THE REVIEWS! Those companies that have a good work ethic will be rewarded with ongoing business.
Had I read the exhaustive T&Cs protecting themselves when I confirmed a call-out by their technician, I may have smelled a rat.
The technician arrived and spent just over the time included in the exorbitant call-out fee to notch the cost up a further part-hourly rate. We were told the electrical board was at fault and would cost half of what we paid for the machine, and even then the machine may not work.
I was left with the same broken machine but hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Whether the fault was correctly or incorrectly diagnosed, their call-out fee is always guaranteed.

From the very beginning it was easy to make a booking online , the staff were friendly and understood my description of what I thought may be going on with my washing machine. I was told clearly how much it would cost and informed this may change , i was lucky it was an easy fix so the quote was spot on.When Peter came out he was friendly and was more then happy to teach me some things I was unaware of for the upkeep of my machine. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Peter. I highly recommend the company and will be using them as my number 1 first choice for any future work.

I have a Panasonic DVD player and was advised by Panasonic that I could have it deregionalised free of charge by one of their service centres, of which ABC electrical are one.
On contacting ABC they advised it was $75 NOT free and they would have to get the tool and that could take months!
I contacted Panasonic who in turn contacted ABC and put everything in place for me, so off I went to ABC with my player.
On arriving at the filthy tatty premises I found only one worker there. He insisted it would cost me $75.
I explained everything to him after which I was told I would have to leave the DVD player there as they didn’t have the tool!
It made me wonder if they weren’t happy at having to do the job for free!
This company sucks
Their phone manners are not particularly professional, their attitude is that of a company that does not want to keep its customers. In all honesty it makes you wonder how they remain in business!

I wish I'd done a search to check their reviews before I employed them to service & clean our coffee machine! They seem to have similar complaints.
When we received or machine back it was dirty & still with water scale stains & coffee grounds inside & they tried to say that was normal. I wish I could post a picture here.
They didn't give us back the power cord that was definitely connected when we dropped it in & argued with us we never brought it in then said they had plenty out back & we could have this dirty one they brought out.
When I rang, to say we weren't happy, the woman in the office was very rude about it & hung up on me & the repair man never rang back.
We returned to the store & were brushed aside & our concerns fell on deaf ears. Didn't even care about the rudest office girl I've EVER spoken to.
NEVER ever again would I use them, total waste of money.
I will also be contacting DeLonghi as ABC advertise they repair their brand.

Never use these people, they are an absolute disgrace. Charged me for things I did not do, took away my appliance for 2 weeks, heard nothing, then wanted to charge me $350 to deliver it back. The charge for the replacement part was 150% more than I could get it online at 3 different web sites. Rude and arrogant, customer is always wrong !!!!!

Charged me for a complete electrical review of my oven when they knew what the problem was initially. Reviews are accurate that they are a rip-off. I have told Gaggenau that they are thieves and will tell all other manufacturers the same. For the sake of a couple of bucks they will rip you off. Hopefully the manufacturers will block them as service agents.

I called these guys to repair my Technika oven. The oven is nearly 12 years old and thought an easy fix. Initial technician came and said it could be swich’s failure which he does not have spare parts, which needs to be reordered. He said he will come back with the parts. He did not tell me that he is going to take the switch with him, which he did. NO idea why did he do that. ABC charged me $275. Few days later they send me a quote to repair the swich for $470. You could get swich in the market for $60. Which means total cost would be $745, when the similar model new cooker cost $1500. The worst part when I asked them to put back the old part as I want to trade in with new oven. The guy came and put it back, and charged me $66. He should have put it back in the first day itself. See their play. Stay away from them. If your appliance is out of warranty, you will be better of getting a replacement.

Had a problem with our large fridge/freezer. Initial technician was prompt and explained what needed to be done. Came back a few days later to apparently fix the problem. All seemed well until we realised freezer was not working and fridge wasn't as cold as it should have been. Tried to contact the technician and the company to give them an update. Had to continually follow up as they didn't get back to us despite promising to do so. Finally, after chasing them up again, they told us we needed to pay for a whole new service call out fee and hourly rate charges if we want the technician to re-investigate. Don't bother using these guys. They clearly don't give a damn !!!

terrible company, I googled Westinghouse oven repair and this company came up. They are a scam. They charge you $150 to come out and tell you the problem. They wont tell you what part is needed when I asked. Then they charge triple the price for the part and it would cost less to buy a new oven. I checked with Westinghouse and it would be been half the price. Awful company do no use.

I have a Miele dishwasher that needed repair - ABC Electrical charged $143 to tell me the motor needed to be replaced and that it would be another $1055 for a new motor. Shortly after getting the quote a very pushy woman from ABC Electrical rang me trying to get me to accept the quote. She was so rude I decided to get another opinion from a different repairer who specialises in Miele repairs. The new repairer advised that not only did the motor need replacing the flow value also needed replacing. He had both parts in the van and fixed it on the spot for under $800. Wish I had read the reviews about ABC Electrical before using them. Could have saved time and money by not bothering with ABC Electrical in the first place.

Be careful about using this company, I wish we had of read the reviews before using them. We had ABC Electrical look at our fridge freezer today, we had no issues with the Serviceman. I noticed hours later that the fridge freezer was not getting cold. When I phoned the office to report that the fridge wasn't fixed, I was lectured and told off by the office woman. I have never been spoken to so rudely like that before, I emailed them to complain and was told that the woman followed their protocol, says a lot about the company. They were going to return the following Monday but I cancelled the booking. Not a good experience with this company.

Under no circumstances would i ever call this company to fix any appliance, office staff are very helpful and friendly but it stops there. Called a tech to look at washing machine, arrived on time looked at machine, undid a few hoses , ran a cycle and then told us what we already new that the clothes where still wet at the end of the wash cycle, had no idea why but maybe we could take it to the shop for further repairs. Paid $176.00 for this bullshit.
Rang another company and they found the problem in 10 mins, had the part in the van and fixed immediatley for $149.00. ZERO RATING

DO NOT use this company for any Smeg repairs. They are polite at first and explain fees and come out promptly but goes downhill from there. They told us could not do work until a plumber fit a flexible hose - But it was already there and the technician just failed to pull out oven. Then wanted to charge $909 to be fixed (excluding the plumber/gas fitter that is not actually required) called to discuss but they took no responsibility - NOT recommended absolute thieves

Seriously, it would be cheaper & kinder to yourself to buy a new appliance.
We have Kleenmaid appliances & they are listed as one of their recommended repairers.
ABC were asked to tighten the handle on our microwave. We now have a $3,000 appliance which DOES NOT WORK at all. FAIL FAIL FAIL.
Three attempts to fix our dishwasher. FAIL FAIL FAIL.

We have complained to Kleenmaid & suggested they remove them from their list.

After reading their responses to others, I can only anticipate their response to this!!

Worst customer service that I have ever experienced and don't even deserve a one star. Just like the previous reviewer the lady on the phone was the rudest and obnoxious person I have ever come across. I then asked to speak to the General Manager who acted like he was a CEO of a multinational company. All because I refused to sit there for two hours waiting for the repairman arrived and then the whole time it was repaired which they insist is company policy. I have never had to do that in my life for any repair. Reading the other reviews, I am glad I didn't agree to sit there the whole time if they didn't turn up or didn't end up fixing. Not a way to run a successful business and I wonder how they survived and if the owner knows how rude the staff are and how willing they are to lose jobs.

Rang and booked ABC electrical Browns Plains advising the male representative my two elements on induction cooktop weren’t working, I was informed over the phone of all the costs involved etc, as well as a follow up email.
Electrician came (no complaints about him, he was very polite) basically at the end of the call out, I paid $231.00 to be told, elements not working, will have to order parts, ABC electrical would be in touch.
Of course I wasn’t happy, so I called ABC electrical, the lady was so rude, dismissive and aggressive, naturally I wanted to know some idea of how much more I was gonna have to pay, I said to her Ive paid $231.00 so far for nothing, lady said you never paid for nothing, you were told what the problem was (hello…I already knew). Pretty much was scolded by the lady in their customer service who was straight out unwilling to help, and that I will just have to wait, until I receive my email (which was meant to come yesterday)
ABC electrical need to train their staff in customer service, a little kindness, goes a long way, even if not able to give their customer what they want………… no word from ABC electrical yet……..Now, don’t care if I receive an email or not, I will definitely not be using their services again.

Push button switches on rangehood weren't working (sticking), so the control panel had to be taken away to be fixed. At same time decided to get new filters, one of which was taken away by technician since it was impossible to determine the model number of the unit (not displayed anywhere in eyesight). I had to pay in advance for the repair and new filters for the job to proceed. Eventually control panel returned and inserted but one of the LED lights now not working - why didn't they fix that at the time? Also filters wrong size, despite having one of mine to check against! Four days later they ring with the news the filters cannot be returned to the supplier and I am out of pocket! The only option I have to try and recoup any $ is try and sell the filters to someone else. But I have no idea what model the filters do actually fit! Terrible customer service! Would never use again.

Do not trust or use this company under any circumstances. They came out to fix the rangehood, provided 2 options with one being to replace control panel on the existing unit and the other to install new rangehood. I didn't really want to replace the rangehood as tried this before with an electrican and the dimensions were tricky and he couldn't do it so called ABC to fix the existing unit. However, ABC recommended a new unit, he provided the model number of one that would fit and he said he could do it another time with only small 15minute fee on top of existing invoice so I chose this option. I bought the new rangehood and when it came time to install they said they do not install appliances and it was confirmed by the manager. So I was left with a $130 bill for someone to look at the rangehood. Unreliable, untrustworthy, ridiculous pricing.

I have been ABC electrical for few years, and every time i was answered by a friendly helpful voice.
Today I required the replacement of my Bosch door seal ( washing machine) while ringing other companies I was treated like trash to the point I was emotionally upset!! I decided to ring ABC ELECTRICAL and I am feeling better now! Customer services is very important, and until today you guys are the best!!

i called ABC electrical to repair my Samsung Dishwasher,,i actually described what was wrong based on the manualdescriptions,the model of the dishwasher.Repair men came ,check the dishwasher and he even mentioned the error of trouble shooting,which i thought he could have already ready of what sparepart possible needed.but lo and behold nothing it was not fixed,,and i payed $132 ,he said that the valve will be ordered and he will be back once it arrived ,,which means another payment for the service and the sparepart.

Called abc electrical on Monday to ask about possibility of repairing a Miele microwave oven. Phil the electrician assured us that it could be done, explained the cost of the quote, and we delivered It on the same day to Nick at reception.

There was a bit of a delay in our receipt of the quote (I had to call on Wednesday to ask if Phil had time to look at it yet) but we were called on Thursday with a list of faults, and warned that time for the repairs depended on availability of parts and time they took to arrive. We decided it was worth the cost and possible delay, and paid for the job.

All pretty normal really! On Friday the phone rang.
News was the oven was repaired and ready for pick up! And what's more, it seems to be working much better than before. Thank you so much Phil, Nick, and Wayne who, when we picked up the oven, helped us with some insights into what might make dishwashers refuse to perform (another problem in the family!).

So. Three very friendly and helpful people, pretty fast service, and a good job well done. I don't know what happened to those people who gave such scathing reviews...they must be talking about another business surely!
We will certainly go back to abc next time.

Made an appointment last week for 10am-3pm on Tuesday. Stayed home from work and waited.... At 2.50pm got call from electrician but rang off before I could answer. Rang back immediately and got his messagebank, left message and phoned and texted. No reply until Wed morning, offering a re schedule. Who can take days off work to wait in case they arrive ?

I needed my oven repaired and called ABC Electrical. They were able to get a repairer to my house 2 days later. The gentleman arrived on time and completed the repairs within 10 minutes. He left everything neat and tidy and appeared quite friendly.
There was a call out fee plus costs for the parts. But all in all, this was much cheaper than replacing the whole oven.
I would have no hestation to call ABC Electrical again if something else breaks down in my home.

my washing machine clogged up again.... so i rang abc electrical. they came out the very next day and fixed the problem straight away. and the best part is it didnt cost anywhere near as much as i thought it would. thanks guys!
