Sensational service! Chris was prompt and professional and clearly discussed the possible options for our installation. The quote was reasonable and the job was completed promptly...and before Christmas!! We are extremely happy with our split system air conditioner and would not hesitate to recommend Aspen Air.

From the initial consultation to installation, Chris and his team proved friendly, professional, and reliable - with very sound advice in the installation of an add-on aircon unit to our existing heater. We were receiving little help with our problem from others, but Aspen gave us advice which we took. The whole process was very streamlined and well-organised.

Chris & the team at AspenAir.
From the initial consultation regarding our aged gas ducted heating system to an amazing replacement heating/cooling installation we could not be happier.
This highly professional organisation, who asked all the right questions to fully understand the requirements, clarified all our queries and provided options, has a deep knowledge of their products. Their installation team was exceptional, polite and quietly efficient, hard- working and left our home spotless. Thank you Chris, we will definitely recommend your company to our family and friends.

Aspen Air is a reasonable company to deal with, they are no better and no worse than the average aircon installers. I had them install a small evap cooler at my place in Frankston, their price was reasonable, they arrived on time and the installation went smoothly.
As with all retrofits to existing houses i expected that i would need to do a bit of tidying up after the evaporative cooler was installed and indeed this was the case.
While they didn’t make much of a mess considering they had to cut holes in the ceiling, I still had to vacuum to pick up bits of insulation that had floated down. When the boys cut the holes in the ceiling for the outlets they had caused some of the plaster nails to pushed through the plaster board (10mm circles where the head of the plaster nail came through) the installer did tell me about this and basically said "it happens sometimes, it's a bit of bad luck" (yes bad luck for me). I had to pull the nails out, put in screws, plaster the holes, smooth it back and then a bit of ceiling paint and the job was done. The boys must have pulled out one of the down lights to get their location and they overstretched the retaining springs when they reinstalled it. This made the light sag so there was a 3mm gap on one side, so out comes the light I rebent the spring and bingo flush again. The drain pipe from the evap unit was a bit long and instead of laying straight down the roof it was bowed so, after cutting 10mm off the end it now sits straight. The drain pipe was not secured at the gutter end and 2 days later after some strong wind it had been pushed by the wind one tile to the right, so now while I had fixed the bow it wasn’t straight, a bit of wire around the pvc then tucked under the tiles and it won't move in the wind now. One of the ducts runs across the man hole now, so it's a mission to get into the roof space, surely with all the room in the roof that duct didn't have to go across the man hole, oh well just a bit more bad luck.
So all up, they are ok but nothing special, no matter who i got to do this job i would have had to tidy up a few things. I would have been impressed if they had fixed those plaster holes instead of just telling me about them.
When I was doing my apprenticeship in the 1970's I had a foreman who said "you’re not a tradesman's bootlace until you can fix your own stuff ups" those plaster holes made me think that foreman had a point.
Would I recommend them, yep they are ok.

Reliable, efficient and well informed. Chris and his team have installed heating and cooling in all our properties over the years, from central heating in an inner city Victorian terrace, a beach house on the Peninsula, multi-zoned evaporative cooling and central heating in a large family home, just to mention a few, and most recently a split system in our garage. Great work so we keep going back.

Chris and the team at Aspen Air are true professionals, and a wonderful company to deal with. It's rare to strike such a quality outfit, and they have surpassed my expectations by the proverbial country mile. I could not rate them highly enough, and would recommend them absolutely based on how they have serviced my requirements. I'm happy to take any follow up enquiries on 0417863336.
