I can't praise this amazing hairdresser enough! His expertise show in the outstanding results. My hair was very difficult to manage due to it being curly and cut incorrectley by other hairdressers but Chez changed that for me. I want others to experience what I have hence why I have made time to write this review!

It has been 3 weeks and my hair still looks as if l just stepped out from the salon. He really cares about the state of your hair and the end results are amazing. My hair has always been dry and frizzy now it's shiny coloured curls. Cesare's hair products have helped achieve easy styling at home. I am always astounded with his enthusiasm care and confidence. I highly recommend a visit .

I have been going to Ceasare for about 15 years and have always been more than satisfied. His haircuts last longer than anyone I have seen before and his banter is more interesting!

I came to Chez as a desperate customer. My hair was ridiculously frizzy, tangled and dried out from over-straightening. I had definitely lost faith - thinking that I was born with 'naturally bad hair' that I couldn't ever keep in line.

I was prompted to action by these reviews and I'm glad to say that I made that appointment.

Chez taught me how to love my natural hair (i.e. stop straightening it) and how to care for it. It is just over a month on now from my first appointment and after following all his advice - my hair looks glossy, wavy and healthy. If this is what it looks like now, I'm really looking forward to how it is going to be in a year's time!

Approximate cost: $80

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also bought the shampoo that Chez recommended (which I was initially skeptical about) - but in hindsight has worked wonders in repairing my hair. Also I'm using "Sensual Curls" in the Pure range by www.hairjamm.com to keep things in place (it's totally organic and silicon). Thought I should share it with all you frizzies (like myself) out there!

I have NEVER met any hairdresser as professional as Cesare from Ceasarhands in my 20 years in Melbourne. I have paid up to $400 to get my hair coloured and cut from the so called 'celebrity' type of hairdressers in the past. The outcome of the service was that my hair was utterly dry and damaged after the colouring and have put me off colour my hair for 4 years until I met Cesare. He is so different from any other hairdresser, my hair was very damaged when I went and saw him for the first time. He was able to offer very practicle and affordable solution to help my hair and it only took 3 trips to him and now my hair is nearly back to normal (at its prime condition). Cesare taught me so much about hair, its not joking. I personally suspect his IQ has to be well over 100, such a knowledgeable man he is. Personally I think he has put almost all hairdressers in Melbourne to shame (I know this is a daring statement), I don't even know how some so called colour experts that work in top end hair salon survive. One thing I do know, most of them use very cheap products with big names such as Loreal etc etc. Majority of the hair salon these days are very commercialised, hair dressers are paid by the hour and they need to pump customers through as quickly as they can and they need to make as much mark up as possible. To achieve that, either the hair dresser has to work quickly or use cheap products but with a big name. I can personally guarantee you, if you can Cesare to colour your hair, your hair will not only look great, the colour lasts much longer and it also has a repair effect. Cesare is simply amazing. This is my personal guarantee to you.

My experience was ok. He seems to know what he is doing but there is a slight arrogance to it. Also, the cut takes a very long time, not ideal when you are on the clock. The result was good though so I was happy with that.

Dear anonymous reviewer & future readers, thank you for your feedback. We at Ceasar’s Hands appreciate our patrons personal satisfaction. This is why our initial consultation is tailored for the individuals needs.
We understand that first time patrons are seeking our expertise in their personal grooming, and are expecting results from Ceasar’s Hands in rectifying any past and present issues with their hair.
This obviously is why we were seeked out from Womo
To achieve this we have to identify all aspects of past services from either other Cosmetologists or patrons who have taken upon themselves to colour or cut their own hair as a result from grooming frustrations. At times we do encounter resistance from the patron, and we understand that they have heard it all before, only to find out when they get home they are back to square one. This is why at Ceasar’s Hands we have adopted a non commercial production line philosophy, which allows us to reach our results. Our initial service for you, taking all the elements above into account, results in a lengthy appointment and this is why we do not charge you accordingly. We guarantee practicality and durability with all our services, but unfortunately you can’t please everybody.
We strongly advise you to contact us and highlight you personal needs so we may serve you better in the future
Regards,
Ceasar’s Hands

Hi Anonymous member - You should allow extra time for the service at Ceasar's as all of these reviews advise (and as per the time allocation on the email confirmation they send you) as the initial consult is like no other that you have/will ever experience. Ches was able to identify problems with my hair no no ordinary hairdresser could so this will obviously take some time. I personally prefer this approach which, admittedly may take a little longer, but you feel like they are 100% devoted to you and your head of hair (unlike other hairdressers who's approach is more like a conveyer belt - in a hurry to get you in and out within the timeframes.) MOST people would be happy to have a hairdresser focus this much time on just them...

Dear Business Owner, For future reference, please keep in mind that when responding to a WOMO Member, that it would be a display of good manners to address this individual directly and not the entire WOMO community. It is also important to note that this individual rated your business highly and only offered constructive criticism, which still equates to a satisfied customer. While we understand (and agree with) the point you were trying to make, we take issue with the manner in which it was conducted. It is encouraging to note that you appear to have so many satisfied customers and we have enjoyed perusing the various ratings. However it would be more beneficial to see reviews composed by members with a decent (100%) TrustFactor. Reeces

Cez is one in a million. Had my hair cut and coloured properly for the first time in years. Learnt so much for Cez about my hair and how to look after it properly, certainly something no other hairdresser has ever done. Cez will talk you through everything with no pressure to try anything, including product. So great to see someone who really knows what they are talking about and not just in it for the sell. I have already noticed less hair breakage and fall and had many positive comments on my colour.

A great experience all round and am looking forward to my next appointment.

I have had a fabulous expereince at Cesare's place and am still speachless how he has managed to keep my hair so brilliant and easy maintanance. The products 'prescribed' helped wonders and the haircut -day in, day out falls into place beautifully. I will certainly be back a next time and can not recommend him highly enough, since such individualized and one on one service these days is very rare.Cheers,S.

WOW! What an amazing experience. I learned more about my hair and how to care for it in the first time at Caesars Hands than I have at any other time in my life. I was sent home knowing exactly how to make my hair look, on a daily basis, the way it did walking out of the salon.
So very very different than anything I have experienced before.
I have very curly hair and Chez managed to style it in a way that is is easy and manageable. I love it!!!
Caesars Hands is a very personalised experience.....you will come away with a haircut that suits your face and personality. I cant recommend it too highly.

Like many others on this forum that have discovered Cesar's Hands; I came accross Cesar's Hands because I was tired of bad haircuts & damaging colors/ bleaching - I was on the hunt for a hairdresser that knew how to treat curly hair. From the moment I arrived at the salon I was warmly greeted & made to feel welcome. Cez seated me & was able to tell by inspecting my hair what internal stresses & external factors had resulted in the condition of my hair & scalp. Cez told me exactly what I needed to do from that day forward to fix & revitalize my hair with some key do's & dont's. He explained things to me about my hair that not a single hairdresser has ever told me in my 36 years on this earth & I believe him! Next we discussed the cut & highlights which he promised he wouldn't take off much (my hair is very long) - Cez kept his promise & only took off what had to go & not a millimeter more :) I got some lovely clean-blonde chunky highlights & the best dang hair cut & style of my life - all natural & 100% wash & go - no fuss, just as I like it. I left with a new shampoo, conditioner & styling cream, which I was happy to buy because it meant I could have great hair everyday. I have been a hair model a few times in my life & I swear my hair hasn't ever looked as good as it does now! Best money I have ever spent on a hair service - I recommend Cesar's hands to everyone, especially if you have curly hair & have not yet found a hairdresser that really knows your hair!

Approximate cost: $350 (cut, highlights & products)
