As the owner of a head of very frizzy, dry, unruly curly hair I decided to see what Cesar could do for me. I wish I'd found him a couple of decades ago. He gave me tips on what to do and what not to do and told me what was wrong with my hair. He then explained how he would like to cut my hair and then did it, explaining why he was doing something as he did it. I left Cesar's with new shampoo, conditioner and styling product which have already made a difference. My husband was impressed when I got home (and he rarely notices anything!) and I also got a positive comment about my hair the next day. I still have a bit of fine-tuning to do (judging the amount of styling product needed) but I will definitely be going back.
PS- aside from his knowledge, friendliness and skill, another thing that impressed me about Cesar was that at no stage did he pressure me into anything- when I queried him about getting a colour put through he actually said I shouldn't waste the money because he didn't think I needed it!

I have not reviewed a business before but am delighted to do so for my first experience of having my hair cut at Caesar's Hands.
It was unique in the true sense of the word.The skill and knowledge Caesar brings to the service of his clients is unlike any other. He doesn't just cut the hair that walks in the door, he looks at the whole person and his understanding of the underlying anatomy and physiology, the hairs condition and structure tell him a great deal about you before any words are spoken. When this is combined with his eye for bone structure, colouring general personality and presentation his advice and suggestions are truly inspired. I looked and felt fantastic and the cut is still great three weeks later. I have been to many hairdressers and have asked them all "What would suit me?" This time I asked Caesar And he knew the answer and could explain why. I had the best haircut I've ever had and will go back whenever I need another! Thanks Caesar

During my first appt with Chez he took plenty of time to assess my hair type and colour, taking into account my face shape, skin tone, and styling requirements (or lack of in my case). He then went on to explain what sort of problems he thought I'd had in the past with my hair (and was EXACTLY right) - from what styles had not worked through to what colours had washed me out.
Before cutting he also presented me with a direction in which he'd like to take my hair – what cut/colour, how to improve it's condition, and eventually what kind of maintenance I would need. After quite a few “shockers” in the past I was skeptical (as it involved cutting most of my hair off!) so we worked together to come to a compromise.
After three months I finally decided to let Chez loose with his “vision” for my hair and for the first time in my life I LOVE MY HAIR. It is so easy to manage, I don't have to have it coloured (to get rid of grey) nearly so often, and I get so many complements! Best hairdressing experience ever!!

After finding Ceasar's online, I couldn't be happier with my new cut and colour and plan for future. The colour is a direction i have never gone before and i love it. It was a great experience! This trip to the hairdresser is DIFFERENT! It's a very pleasant and tailor-made session to suit your hair style and needs. He takes his time to study your hair and makes suggestions accordingly. Also recommends hair products that help your in the weeks that follow.

Very personalised experience. Cuts and colours in such a way that when I forget to go for 3 months it still looks great!! My friends always comment on my hair and the way it looks like Ive just been to the hairdresser when all Ive done is washed it. You will not be disappointed by Chez

The entire experience from beginning to end was amazing! He spent well over an hour discussing what type of treatment my hair needs (trust me; it was in desperate need of help). He then shaped the hair to the length that best suits my tiny frame and went on into the treatment phase which took about a couple more hours. So I'd say an hour long consultation and then 2 hours of haircut and treatment at $85 is a steal!! He doesn't make you feel like he's in a rush to catch the 5:58 Lilydale train haha.

The main reason I went was because I started losing a lot of hair and there was no way of keeping it untangled no matter what I tried. It's been about weeks since I've been there and LADIES! I'm telling you, my hair-fall is down by half the amount. (Yes I keep track when I brush my hair/shower).

I would highly recommend Caesar to anyone who needs to bring their hair back to life. I can't wait to go back again.

PS: he makes awesome coffee too! It doesn't get better than this.

It was only a few months ago that I was just like you reading these reviews, thinking...mmm should I try? Well I did and I am so happy. Cesare is definitely the most talented hairdresser I have ever known. I am absolutely pedantic about my hair and I've finally met someone who feels the same - my hairdresser :) my hair has never looked or felt so wonderful as it does now - everyone is commenting on my curls and I have Cesare to thank - go fot it and book an appt - its well worth it

Not only does Chez give you a great cut, he can tell you things about your health from his knowledge of your hair and scalp condition.
