Excellent food lovely owners, a must have if you are in Hervey Bay. Came here two night's in a row it's that yum.

Came here a few years ago whilst on holidays. Central easy to get to location with a good selection for authentic or western spins. I think the pricing is okay and the service was prompt.

I absolutely love this place. I enjoy the food and love that you have the choice to dine in or take away. Its not to cheap but at the same time not to dear either. There is a variety of different foods and drinks to choose from, And a range of sizes in the take away containers.

Came here for dinner when I visited Hervey Bay. Although most dishes appear to target Westerners, they do make a good selection of authentic chinese food. Jenny the owner is very friendly and make sure we are well looked after. Food are well seasoned, not too salty and quite certain no msg in them. Good portion size. We had the seafood pot, beef with vegetables and Cantonese chicken on hot plate. Would be better if they used porcelain instead of plastic bowls and dishes. The place looks a bit old but overall tidy and neat.

they have the best honey chicken in town, the restaurant is very clean and tidy but very plain, the food is always fresh but does sometimes sit for a little to long in hot box. the price is fair but for the portions its should be cheaper, overall, the food tastes good so its worth it.

The dishes in China World offer both authentic and Westernised Chinese cuisines. Jenny the owner is extremely friendly to the customers. She would even come out of the kitchen whenever she is there at the restaurant, ensuring that we are happy with the meals ordered. They also have a takeaway section on the other side of the restaurant, which doesn't interrupt the dining experience of other consumers. The meals especially the seafood and veg are very fresh. Will definitely pay another visit.

My daughter and I ate here for the very first time the other night. So hard to find a good chinese restaurant. We had the all you can eat buffet and sat down to eat it. The food was quite nice and moist. Nothing I ate was "aweful". The staff were friendly and most helpful. Would eat there again. They have 4 different sizes for take away which help people like me on a budget to afford take-away.

Situated on the Esplanade in Hervey Bay, across from the parks and beach. China World is a good place to get a meal when on a night out. I ordered takeaway here. The service was great. I ordered and came back in the 20 minutes they said it would be ready and it was. My meals were nice and hot. The food is pretty good. It's filling and I have a love for Chinese food and I thoroughly enjoyed the food here. If you love Chinese food I recommend you try it from here.

Lovely food, they have an all you can eat buffet at night or you can choose a takeaway container (priced by size) and fill it up from the buffet. At lunch however you have to order from the menu. Great food and the service was reasonably quick (hence 2 stars for service) but the staff are not exactly friendly nor unfriendly, just doing their job but not looking particularly happy about it.
