You really have to be alert when buying from Grays. True, they do have a lot of goods, but value is pretty poor with a lot of stock. However, the real negative with them is postage. Can't believe postage was $24 for a pr of sheets, and that an extra pair was another $14 more. What a rip off! Must be a gold plated courier truck

GreysOnline can offer value if you search carefully. Of course there is a risk you may buy something for more than it's worth but that is typical of any auction site. You do however have the chance of purchasing some items at a great price!
Read adverts carefully. If something is available second hand as is, think it over because if it is faulty you may have thrown away good money. Look for second hand items in working order and check that it works if you pick it up, before taking it home.

GreysOnline can be a great resource for buying items at a reduced price if you shop carefully and are patient.

I love graysonline, have bid & won on all sorts of things, jewellery, laptop, blue ray player, the sink & taps for my recent renovation, bedding, manchester & wine. Its a great all round site and if you are looking for something you desperately need ie I needed a sink for my kitchen, I paid $59 for s bowl & a half where its retail is over $600, its the taps one I paid $129 and the other $119 retail $350, delivery depending on where you live and the weight of the item, is reasonable and when you are bidding you have a buyers premium of 15%. Just prior to Christmas I bought a leather recliner valued at $1400 for $299... bargain... have to share this site.. yay!!
On reading some of the reviews in here that seem to be pretty negative, you have to know what you are buying, you need to check elsewhere if you are getting a bargain and if you are not sure 100% then dont buy it. I have had no issues with them, except once when they were on the ball straight away and in the end it was me not understanding how a sat nav works. Read the fine print and you wont pay more than you initially thought. All auctions have a buyers premium, both online & in the real world

I've been buying wine from here for about six months. Okay, the quality isn't always the best but experience teaches you the best years for certain varieties. The people who bag this site are not reading the fine print before they buy. IT'S AN AUCTION!!! You can't return it if you don't like it, once you've pushed "bid now" you have signed a contract that you will buy and like all auctions the auction keeps going until the highest bids are in. Read the fine print and you won't complain. I've paid as little as $2.50 a bottle.

Like many reviews below, I feel as though this particular website displays things in a negative way - deceiving buyers. This isnt purposeful, but it should have been fixed by now. Read before buying!

I feel the site often misrepresents items in order to deceive the consumer. You should always READ about the items before purchasing, especially on a website such as this.

Like most websites you have to be careful on this one, not because they are dihonest infact quite the opposite. what you read is what you get from these people, but that is the key point read everything and understand what you are buying and exactly what it is going to cost you before you hit that final confim bid button. Having said that I love Grays Online and buy from them all the time, many diffrent things over many years, from when they were just a little buisness and can tell you that their ethics and quality of goods has never changed, but its upto you to make sure you read the info correctly.

I've been using Grays online for years to buy wine. Originally, when it was a lesser known site, there were some good bargains to be had. As it has become more popular the prices have increased a little. The prices are still pretty fair though. Remember to add 15% buyers premium plus delivery to your purchase price though.

They often mis represent there items they photo selectively so items you cant go and physically inspect look beter than they are. Costumer service training is at a minimum.
This could be a good company I used to prefer it to regular auctions as I found other auction houses to be suspect with misterios invisible bidders. Now I get the same shady feeling from Grays.

I have been a customer of Graysonline for some time now and always enjoy having a look through the lots of items. I always double check before I bid on the price and quality of the item I wish to buy. I also check what value I should expect and the postage or pick up details as the items could come fro anywhere in Australia. I have purchased many and varied things from wine, mats, jewellery and things from closed businesses. Loving all I have bought so far. Will only pay what I think the item is worth, If it goes over this price well maybe I shouldnt be buying it at all LOL :) Am currently bidding on items - Happy customer all round.
