I would give no stars if it were possible, they take Your money then do not send Your goods, after over 6 weeks tell You they'll give the money back, great way to make.mobey on the short term money market, bid on Rugs and the one that was best value for Me to win will never be supplied, all the others that they made money on , except one, were supplied, rip-off scummy dogs, don't deal with them, I've got 2 washing machines and 2 plus cars that are boat anchors, told they were good but don't even start and washers leak like sieves, they sell junk and misrepresent it as functional. Worst company to deal with, customer service is non existent. I will not be buying again, anyone else want to join.Me in a class action against Grays?

Bought 6 laptops from them, 4 of them had the serial numbers scratched off for god knows what reason. I couldn't fault 3 of them so it almost seems like they do it on purpose so you have to scrap them instead of fix them and resell them.

Be very careful what you buy from them, if a laptop or desktop says it's faulty do not buy it no matter how good you are at fixing them unless you are happy to sell with scratched off serial numbers. The numbers are available in the BIOS anyway which makes it even more pointless.

I bought two items for $29 each, 40x40x40cm and light.

There was no freight calculation options anywhere, well there was but it showed as $0, until the invoice came.

Wow. $360 for Syd to Mel. Clearly making money on freight!

After 6 attempts to cancel the purchase with support, my only option was to pay 10% ($42) or my account would be suspended. Zero acknowledgement from anyone in support.

So, after years of a happy relationship with Grays Online, they are now happy to not have me as a customer.
Crazy business ethics!

I bought a jewellery with description of 18K Gold but when it arrived it was actually 18KRGP- it was not real gold, it was gold plated. Very deceiving product description.

I have bought 3 cars from grays online.
First 2 cars were fair and as per description.
The 3rd vehicle was a disaster.
The biggest oil leak I have ever seen with worker foot prints walking away back to the main office back rooms.
I didn't even get to sit in the vehicle or turn it on.
It has been 3 weeks since my full refund request.
I have been calling every 3 days and I get the same response "no update, please give us 2-3 days".
I am without a car and without my money during this pandemic and I am now struggling.
Worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I feel like I am purposely being ignored and brushed off.
I am still waiting for my refund.

I bought 3 items of the GraysOnline brand 'Jacobs Hand Crafted Designs' only to find the items were very small and very thin-walled. The lack of dimensions in the description and lack of scale in the photos/renders are very deceptive.
Warning To All - DO NOT buy or bid on their overvalued pood quality Jewellery!

Approximate cost: $1800

Entered the on line bidding fiasco and I was the ‘winning’ bidder at their close of auction !! .... A very short time after the auction closed I was advised that my bid was unsuccessful !! .... Immediately I went back on line and sure enough, I had been out bid, after the auction closed ! .... The next day I logged onto their site and the details of the bidding history had been ‘adjusted’ to show that the successful bid was logged in just before close of auction !!...Fortunately for me and unfortunately for the auctioneers, I had taken copies of their bidding history sheet a very short time after the auction had finished and copies the next day, after their bidding sheet had been ‘adjusted’! .... I’m now waiting on Graysonline response to my complaint, I’m also seeking independent counsel regarding suitable actions available to me !
THE ACTIONS OF PEOPLE WITHIN THIS COMPANY DEMONSTRATED THAT THIS COMPANY CANNOT BE TRUSTED !

I've had reasonable experiences in the past, but recent purchases were very disappointing.
Their product descriptions are reliably INACCURATE and/or LAZY.

Buying from interstate, pre-inspection wasn't really a viable option, so I went with the description, 'used', and 'as-is', with superficial research online(for the wrongly described product!). We drove 900km to pick-up.

Only 'used' was accurate. They forgot to mention one item had been heavily dropped & damaged internally, and could not possibly operate again - ever. The second item was sold as an 'XXX', whereas it was in fact an 'OOO'.
It would help a lot if they could catalogue the products accurately, with informative photos, along with the compliance plate / model & serial number - so the buyer can research the product.

CAUTION: They should not sell electrical appliances with a plug attached - unless it has been certified as safe to operate. Mine weren't tagged -or- safe!

RECOMMENDATIONS: Only buy if you can inspect. GRAYS should improve their product listings.
Lying by omission is not a defence. As-is must be supported by an accurate description.

I'm not the only one caught here... the underbidder on both items was only 10% below my winning bids - it could have been them just as easily.

GRAYSONLINE - raise your act. I was lucky, in that I could dismantle and rebuild one item to a re-saleable standard. The other $350 goes into hard waste.

Approximate cost: $800

I purchased a Demo model laptop from Grays. It has had the serial number scratched out and has had a fault with the battery from delivery.
A technician advises it is unlikely to be a Demo due to the fault being from manufacture. Grays are not interested and are not even responding to my emails

Approximate cost: $860

You only know how good a company is when a mistake happens and this company deals with mistakes really badly.

I ordered wine and was given the wrong order. I emailed the company and the person did not read my email properly and instead of resolving the wrong wine order he emailed me to say he was chasing up Toll.

I then phoned to sort this out and was told the process would be:
- toll would collect the wrong order (I would have to be at home)
-toll would the deliver the right order (i would need to be at home)

I asked that toll bring the right order and pick up the wrong order in the one transaction but that was not allowed.

I have now asked for a refund and will never use grays again. For 6 bottles of wine I will have to be home 3 days, it is simply not worth the trouble.
