I checked information and made sure a business was opened before I went to redeem a voucher. When I arrived at the location there were no signs that restaurant would be opening on time and it didn't. I contacted Groupon was informed that there needed to be an "investigation" a few days later I was informed that they were "still seeking solutions". I rang the company and was informed that I would need to allow 7 working days because there were a lot of complaints to investigate. Australia Day means that I will need to wait even longer. If I was with any other company I would have the amount returned to me as credit to use on another deal. I was planning to make another purchase from Groupon but will not now. Groupon where admin is more importen than customers.

I bought so many good deals on groupons. Its good to read the review befor you buy the deal. Sometimes there is a catch, but if you read the condition, you will be fine.

Placed an order in Dec last year for a pair of shoes, received one notification stating that it may not reach before christmas, but no later than 7-10 days later. Now in end of Feb 2014, and they have just decided to cancel my order and refund my money, but very little would have been done without myself instigating contact, plus they thought it a huge joke, sorry, I was not impressed personally. Steer clear of this mob, nothing but lies and excuses for the obviously inexcusable.

May have been a bit hasty with negative feedback, have had nothing but wonderful experiences since. obviously a few teething problems, but all good now.

Groupon is a most welcome email every day. They offer discounted meals, trips, jewellery... all sorts of things.

We bought a dinner and show for two at a Brazilian Restaurant in Brisbane a couple of years ago, and a week before our booked date, the restaurant called and said they were closing down. Groupon gave us an immediate refund.

Very good to deal with.

Groupon is a fantastic site that contains a huge range of shopping, food, health and travel deals. I have genially had positive experiences. The trick is to thoroughly read all fingerprint and search up the place before buying. You may find the images they use on groupon appear nothing like the actual shop, so be aware. Other than that, the prices are very good. I would recommend this site to everyone.

This is one of the most reputable and fair daily deal sites around. I have managed to get a refund "no questions asked" a number of time because either I asked for a refund within 7 days of their "change of minde" policy or the supplier couldn't fit me in at an appropriate time. This is how it should be. Don't use Scoopon they are terrible and will never give you back your money even though they have a refund policy on their website.

I'm a bit on the fence. Sometimes there are really fantastic deals, sometimes the places don't end up as good as you think. But either way, prices are fantastic.

Its a good website for getting discounted items or services for beauty etc

I have purchased a voucher previously and then discovered the merchant closed down and so I could not receive what i paid for

After many email requests over a few weeks, I did receive a refund from Groupon

The telephone support is very slack, I was on hold for 20 minutes and still no answer from a customer service representative.

I have now purchased 6 different vouchers for many places. This is a great website for taking out your family or a group of friends. You save a huge amount- I have been paying half price for quite a few meals recently! I've had no troubles at all in obtaining vouchers and all the experiences I've had have been positive.
