Even though it looks and feels like your typical Irish bar we certainly had a very different experience. Our barmen was training for some upcoming cocktail events and we assisted him in trying a number of his signature shots and cocktails. All of which not only looked amazing but tasted great also. He put on quite a show with his skills and was most impressive.

Music playing, hive of activity and upbeat fun on Friday & Saturday night. It is a pub that has more of a tavern come restaurant feel. Food is absolutely delicious, good value for money and comes out quickly. Great if you feel like lots of energy and activity - not the right place on a Friday or Saturday night if you're looking for a quiet night out but through the week and through the day it's okay. At time of writing they have a dine free on your birthday deal if you're dining with another full paying customer. I'm not real big on pubs but I can't fault this place.

I went to this place on my birthday and got a free birthday meal when dined with another friend who purchased a meal. I ordered the slow cook beef pie which was very delicious served in quite a genuine portion size. There are also bands who play music throughout the night to entertain the diners. A good relaxing pub to meet up with friends to have a meal or a drink or two.

Considering this is a pub they have a surprisingly good menu, and the quality of our meals was pretty impressive. It can't be beaten on value for money with meals on the specials starting at $17. Being a pub they have a great drinks list but the selection of wines could be greater. The only downside is the noise, we had a guy playing guitar while we were eating and the acoustics of the place made the music really overpowering.

Delicious, well-priced, great sized meals. Love how you can eat free on your birthday. Nice, Irish atmosphere, great for St Patty's day. Family friendly atmosphere through the day and evening, and a great party atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night, with great live entertainment. Great service and very spacious dining, inside and out.

One of the best restaurants in Hervey Bay. We have never had a bad meal there! Great deal on your birthday where the birthday person gets $25 towards their meal if 2 or more people are in the party. Very good service, pleasant staff. We are steady customers here.

Approximate cost: $10-$30

One of our favourite restaurants to visit in Hervey Bay. We ate their a few nights ago and as usual it was fantastic. Service is always polite and friendly. Meals were hot and on our table probably within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Cost is very reasonable for the generous sized servings your meals are. We've often been there for birthdays because they have the birthday person's meal for free, so it makes sense, why not bring a group of friends. Often really good live entertainment also. Top notch fun restaurant, we really enjoy it. Well done.

Approximate cost: $20.00

12 different beers on tap including Irish beers and Australian, free meal on your birthday (with the purchase of one meal of course), great atmosphere, awesome service, live music, and of course it's right across The Esplanade from the beach in beautiful Hervey Bay what more could you possibly ask for in an Irish restaurant & Bar.

Approximate cost: $25-$35
